scores rather more frequently!
Holloway would have scored as many in League 2 as COG did.

Can’t be letting that lad from Oldham Richie Bennett score another 2 against us like he did for Carlisle in the FA Cup last season.
Looks like Leitch-Smith who is their best player could be out as he hasn’t played in a while and Mandeville who I think is one of their better players has been on the bench lately

Was Pete Wild at the game and where did he sit?

Good to see a mobile forward line, even if the ball does bounce off them more than you'd like, hopefully the West Ham kid can add to that.
Best I've seen Baxter play this season (which isn't saying much) , as the cliche goes it would be like having a new player if he can keep it up.
What was with the 10 man huddle after every goal?
Scholes told them to all celebrate every goal

He’s gone with the team I would have gone with so I’m happy.
Im expecting a lot of possession and clever football from that front 6 and very little long ball

Yeovil are in dire form so this has 0-1 written all over it

Don’t know why Vera is getting stick, thought he had a decent game, good touch, good vision, brought others into play. Lang getting praised when he was arguably our worst player, even clearing our shot off their line And constantly offside. Branger is the type of player who does better at the end of a game, maybe suited to coming on as a sub.
Baxter did alright when he came on and all subs did well, especially the United lad, direct, pacey, good on the ball and a good confident finish. Iversen kept us in it at times and he really is an underrated keeper! Let’s hope we can push on and win these 3 home games now. And let’s hope the chairman can let Scholes get on with the job.
Edit... It’s still an absolute disgrace that players are being frozen out and being made to train with the youths.
I agree, can’t see Scholes allowing players training with the youths to continue

Dearnley came on for Stott, moving Nepomuceno to full back. This was 12 minutes before Baxter came on for Vera.
To be fair it was 3am when I started watching at the start of the second half.
You get the jist of the original point though yeah?
-
Baxter also looks to be getting about the pitch a lot better, it’s a shame it’s took this long but that won’t matter if we go on a charge for an unlikely play-off spot.
-
That second half just goes to show there’s no god given requirement to play a big lump up front in this division. The moment Vera came off for Dearnley it all changed. We brought on a clever player who retained the ball and played clever first time passes. If this is Scholes’ kind of player then the future’s bright.
Our ability to counter with youthful exuberance and pace was refreshing and damn effective.

St Mirren fans very disappointed with Nazon in the first two games.

Shame whats happened with Fane. If it wasnt for the injury and other stuff I reckon he could of been a big player for is this year.
Especially in a lower league.

Yes. Stott was out best defender by some distance.
Slices a lot of his clearances though

Good to see everyone in general agreement that:
Vera is a raffle winner
Lang is knackered
Maouche looks a class above as MK aren’t pressing us.
Missilou doesn’t half cover some ground.
When Nepo gets forward he’s crossing the ball with Branger stood next to him, that side just doesn’t work
-
FYI - when we played Donny at the back end of last season, Hamer & Big George were the centre halves and we kept a clean sheet against Marquis et al
-
No chance that Pete Wild actually will because he likes 2 defensive mids and AL insists on Branger playing left wing but with the threadbare nature of our squad I’d be playing 5-3-2/3-5-2 with Dummigan/Hunt & Nepo as wing backs, Missilou, Sylla & Baxter in the middle with Vera & Lang up top
Vera & Sylla are that poor though that I actually wish O’Grady was back and If staying 4-2-3-1 I would consider playing Hamer in place of Sylla (Wellens said last season that he wanted to play Hamer there)

You are absolutely right, but it isn't inconceivable that we have already made at least one signing and waiting until Friday to announce it like we did last week...
You tease....

We’ve got no chance in this have we, let’s be honest lads.
Doncaster are flying, we’ve lost 3 of our most crucial players and replaced them with 2 new signings who are way way off the pace.
Our only hope is the magic of the cup

Mate who is in Dubai told me he saw Paolo Di Canio last night. I asked who he was with but all he could say was that the two guys were Middle Eastern looking.

Did his son give a reason for the turnaround and it being off?
Because AL is a nutter and Scholes doesn’t need the grief

Is Maouche banned for this?

The only thing holding it up is the issue with Salford, and that should be resolved very soon...
