How would you know that?
From being on a golf day with the manager of a large non-league club.
it was very interesting to hear what he had to say about Unsworth’s reputation within the game.
Players these days won’t go somewhere if the style of football won’t suit them, those that are on demand anyway

Going to be a long night if we haven't announced Ward, Yarney and Green by 9:30 pm
Ward is in America, will be announced when he’s back.

I've seen a bit of Willoughby and he'd probably be the best finisher we've signed for a number of years, great composure in front of goal and finds the bottom corner with ease, be interesting how Unsworth pairs them up if we go with a two Nuttall, Fondop, Reid, Willoughby is some strikeforce at this level.
The new Yorke, Cole, Sheringham, Solskjaer

Let what go?, it's an opinion on a forum precious.
As for shithousery you do know Vaughan didn't play another minute for us again after that Altrincham game, he was 18 at the time and was made the scapegoat for that performance which was as bad as I've ever seen from a Latics team, it's not blown out of proportion it's fact and everything since then points to Unsworth getting the Vaughan situation very wrong, as for Couto I probably should cut him some slack but I don't rate him, he has age on his side and may well prove me wrong but I just don't see what he offers and he'd struggle to catch at Avro, it's not weird it's fact and the only thing weird in all this is how Unsworth somehow played;
Couto
Peck
Chapman
Wellens
Stobbs
Threlkeld
Maynard
Burgess
Have I forgotten any????
In a midfield in front of him when we couldn't string two passes together let alone show any attacking intent.
I've warmed to Unsworth and genuinely think he'll take us up next season with the backing he's had, it still doesn't mean I'll agree with everything he does, I'm happy to admit when I get it wrong and my views aren't entrenched as others are on here and I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt but he fucked up with Vaughan and should of built the team round him.
There’s a good number of players who don’t want to come to us because of the style of play Unsworth plays and also what he’s like as a person. He’s a marmite character within the game

Good debate to read between the two of you

At least someone understood the “good player” at the start was the give away.
You’re right apologies, just got triggered seeing their names in the same sentence!

Good player but not sure how different he is to Sheron and Shelton.
Have a bloody word with yourself. Neither of those are fit to lace Lundstrams boots

Still Latin but back to a football context. Some years ago I wrote a film script called 'Home Banker' about a group of exiled Northern football supporters on a mission to save their home town club from bankruptcy; yes, I know, it's a mystery...
The club's motto was 'Mustn't Grumble' which I wanted in Latin so I contacted my old boss who post early retirement became a language professor at Oxford. he speaks twenty languages, is the country's leading authority on Old Norse and holds dinner parties in Latin and Ancient Greek.
Didn't take him long to come up with Nunc Est Querundum so that was on the club badge in the film.
Had some really good feedback from a friend's brother who has won a Golden Globe for directing so it seemed nailed on that fame and fortune was waiting close by. Sadly never got made; to my dying breath I'll be convinced that it was a lot better than some of the stuff that does appear on screen.
I’ve had an idea for a film script for years but haven’t committed.
What’s the best way to learn how to write a script?

Keillor-Dunn scores against Pidge yesterday. Been on fire since joining Mansfield
-
I don’t think he’s anywhere near ready. More likely to be a Brendy Glackin than anything.
only thing I would say is a lot of his goals seem to fall at his feet I.e he’s in the right position but he’s physically lacking

Every single manager in this league would get more out of this squad than Unsworth is getting.
Results are short term, performances give a true indication of where a team is at and there is nothing cohesive or progressive about what we’re seeing.
Thought it was noticeable when Gardner went down that the players didn’t go near the bench for instruction and had a mini conversion of their own in the middle of the pitch

Youd have dismissed Vardy as he was scoring goals against binmen and David Eyes when he was at Rhyl as a 25yo?
Yet how many full time u21s from higher clubs fail to impress with many being released?
Give me a non league player anytime with ability and desire over a weak willed player from leagues above.
Agree with this.
I’d imagine most of our fans would have scoffed if we’d have signed Iliman N’Diaye (Currently Sheff Utd’s top scorer and played for Senegal at the World Cup) or Jayden Clarke (just moved to Gillingham from Boreham Wood) when they were both playing Sunday league football a couple of years ago.
Our squad is littered with players on their way down the leagues, it’s a rare occurrence that this type of player goes back up in value.
Even bloody Callum Dolan has got a move to Fleetwood in league 1, someone with raw ability who matured at semi professional level and is now playing 2 leagues higher than we are.

Disappointing, It was a fiery physical game, he made some tricky runs, but knocked off the ball too much.
Subbed after 60 minutes.
Cheers.
Always the risk with that kind of player -

Yes, he played on his own up front, but was always a presence.
Created the FC goal and had several attempts on target himself.
How did Duffy do for Warrington BP?

According to their twitter he was involved in their best stuff in the first half. Was subbed around the hour mark.

I've not seen Warrington Rylands yet, but I've read Callum Dolan is having a great season.
Made a real mess of his time here when he could have made the grade.
I have seen Warrington Town though and I'm keeping tabs on young forward Luke Duffy, who unfortunately due to his exceptional dribbling skills takes a lot of punishment and is currently out injured.
I noticed he was being used as an impact sub a lot and did wonder why but that explains it

I've recommended we check out a young tough, skilful ball winning midfielder at a Championship club who isn't yet in their first team plans.
Hoping to have him looked at in the next couple of weeks.
Like the sound of this one BP.
What were you’re thoughts on Bailey Marsden at Mossley? Seems a bit of a nasty barsteward

Radcliffe vs Warrington Rylands today.
Harry Vaughan starts with the no.9 jersey.
Nicky Adam’s and Bobby Grant also start.
Warrington have Callum Dolan, Callum Mantack and Dean Furman
-
Radcliffe had a friendly v Bootle. He wore no.7, that’s all I know so far
