Has anyone seen a replay of McKay's penalty appeal??
-
Scored 23 in 49 for Margate last season
-
400 sold according to the lad at the ticket office an hour ago.
-
Yeah it were because I went to watch Rochdale/Fulham on September 11th. Blackburn ended up winning it that season as well.

If it's put on the the Chaddy End, it'll be fine for where I sit.

"Oldham historically don't spend money and so there is an element of getting blood out of a stone."
he must have dealt with us before.
If they want a fee, I think we can forget it.
It might be related to Morgan-Smith??

I've asked our Dutch supporters branch about Klok....never heard of him!!
There's only Ronaldo I'd want a bone through sock injury for and I doubt we'll be playing against him anytime soon. So I'll settle for a season long injury for the Blades Wilson.
That's a bit harsh, he seems like a nice bloke,

Harkins then dickhead

I'm a firm believer in first impressions. He looks nothing like a footballer! Good luck all the same.
We all thought that about Gary Hawkins!
-
Icelandic clap with the word "Steve" chucked in.
I like it! The Huddersfield fans will :censored: themselves.
-
The Athleticos should get an Icelandic Clap going in recognition of the Motherwell connection against Huddersfield
-
I'd have fancied bagging a few against those defences. Shocking.
What the heck is that music!

Pretty happy with this tbh. Seem a very promising. Obviously has his own backroom in mind so no shirtlif. Good rep and good knowledge of lower leagues. By the power of grayskull, I'm finally optomistic! Right lad, you've 2 weeks of a mental recruitment with a clean slate, please no David Dunn signings!!!
He might even be able to motivate Carl Winchester.
-
Let's just see what happens in the next couple of weeks eh.
If people were optimistic about the new season you would be putting a damper on things. I find all your posts false.

There could be some big scores against us in our friendlies unless we get a move on and get some players in
That might be a good omen, we usually get everyone's hopes up by playing well in friendlies and dog :censored: when the season starts.
-
Hopefully he's more successful than Joe Kinnear was at Newcastle, he couldn't even name the players!

Abroath v Bon Accord (36-0 Scottish Cup) sticks in the memory from childhood Statto-ness as the biggest?
I grew up reading Ian St John's book of soccer facts. Biggest win in English was Preston winning 27-0, Latics lost 13-4 to Tranmere once, with one player scoring 9 goals!

Just seen a video of Shefki scoring one and missing one in the same game... Anyone know who the opponents were?
Burton at home in the FA Cup?
-
He tried to merge Farnborough with Kingstonian over the objections of both sets of fans.
Forced an FA Cup tie to move from Farnborough to Arsenal for the money, then left shortly after.
Loves buzzwords and gibberish - renamed Farnborough's ground to the AIMITA Stadium ("Attitude Is More Important Than Ability"). As the BBC stated, he comes across as more of a middle manager than a football manager.
Famous for his man management skills - texting players and accusing them of leaking tactics.
I don't like his style or what he's tried to do in the past and I don't think he's right for us.
I can't comment on your first point because I don't know the details but your other points just seem petty. Is it not a common occurrence for an none league team to change the venue for revenue purposes?
-
Lower league record is OK and decent at Stevenage but not done so well at our level. Seems to sign a lot of his previously managed players and been sacked several times.
Not my choice but in our situation we haven't much time to be picky!
He got Stevenage into the playoffs in his first season in League one didn't he?
-
Where has all the hate from Westley stemmed from? I would say he was just odd and flamboyant.
-
Or when I went to Moscow watching England in 2007...
The typical 'casual' type from this country are no match.
-
Ideally you would want the owner to have links with the town and be an actual supporter. Instead of watching Arsenal at the weekends.
-
Given Corney's track record in dithering over appointments and then changing direction completely...
Do I trust him to get it right this Summer? NO, I don't. Bunn would be a disaster, no personality and no first team experience. He was part of the team that helped relegate Rochdale in 11/12.
We need someone savvy someone with managerial experience used to working with pennies.
An Evans or a Warnock whilst obviously out of our reach would be exactly what I would be looking for. Whether Shez left to feather his own nest or because the goalposts had moved on the budget (I reckon it was a mixture of both) then we need a manager of similar ilk that is willing to call the shots and stand up against this incompetent austere board....
At this stage of our existence we can't be too precious about whingeing about :censored: football or whether the manager is a :censored: or not. The manager can be the biggest :censored: ever as long as he can build a team capable of winning 13/14 football matches next season....
Well said. You need to start contributing on here more often mate.

We've been saying that the past 4-5 years, move on.
