  1. Wonder if the players would keep the manager? If we hang onto Dunn passed New Year as Corney seems to favour, then if things don't improve we're stuck with him until we go down. Personally I would give Dunn the next three matches and if things haven't drastically improved bring in an experienced manager. Then the new guy would have the January window.

  2. Well you people are right about us not having a club without Corney. However his recent decisions : Ched Evans, the appointment of Kelly and Dunn and the North stand (late opening and problems with the function room with no explanation) have been poor. If you like it as it is then fine. I won't renew my season ticket next season if there aren't radical changes. The club is badly run from top to bottom, we're an embarrassment!

  3. Yes, but us beating Sheff Utd would have lead to a different set of events leading up the draw which would have resulted in the balls being pulled out in a different order.

In any system, just a small change in initial conditions will almost definitely result in different outcomes, like if you spin a ball on roulette wheel 100 times from the same number, its next to impossible that you'll land on the same number 100 times in a row, it's called chaos theory, the butterfly effect and all that

Chaos theory? Yes that sums us up!

  4. Basically I wouldn't go to the games if I hadn't bought a ST. I've stopped going to away matches and actually I'm not bothered how the team does this season. I've had enough. I appreciate Corney's money and the bank's has stopped us losing our team but his recent decisions: Ched Evans, choice of manager since Johnson left, the north stand - he's turned us into a joke.

  5. I wouldn't move Winchester. He's too light weight to have in the centre. I think LJ took our two strikers off because they had run themselves into the ground plus we still hadn't a goal to show for all the pressure. I think he hoped Wilkinson would stay in the middle - not wander around - and that the crosses would find him. Thought they both did ok when they same on but with the benefit of hindsight I'd have kept Philly on. If it had come off and we'd scored the winner it would have been a master stroke. Some you win... But we didn't lose! And wasn't that some save by our keeper from Macdonald?

  6. On his interview with Gordon, when asked about Noble being released, LJ said we'd soon read about it in the papers so he wasn't going to comment. I assumed that Noble had done something wrong, judging by the look on LJ's face. Very strange. LJ could have just said that Latics are re-signing him and letting him out in loan to improve his fitness. Odd!
