This is potentially a worse situation than 2003. We don't have the security of the council owning the ground, we have a basket case owner who has done god knows what to get money from god knows where and we're faced with a football leage who are much stronger on administration (albiet still not enough).

Corney has fucked right up, hopefully he'll get his comeuppance, sadly it could bring the club down with him.

Pay day isn't a surprise, it happens every month. There has been no game between Tuesday and today so where has the cash suddenly come from and why couldn't it be available a day or two sooner?

I worry about getting another winding up order.

There have been infrequent OAFC board meetings of late, event o discuss the recent fiances submitted or potential new investment.

My mortagage comes out two days after pay day. I'm lucky in that I could probably cover it as a one-off. I probably can't cover all my other bills that also come out two days after pay day. Let alone put food on the table and fuel in the car. 

The staff at latics aren't paid a lot. The junior members of the squad and the youth team aren't paid a lot. They don't (and shouldn't even require) savings to cover their mortagage "just in case" their employer fails to pay them their wages on time.

Sadly, latics have put them in this position too many times.

How many times is acceptable to you? How many times would you have to call your mortagage company to say their payment will be late before you got pissed off?*
