You don't need to. Almost all the content is or will be available online. Which I guess is part of the probem they have being economically viable.
As I said though, I'm willing to support a local newspaper. Its alright saying it's available online but its the physical print that will keep a local paper going rather than the online revenues. I'd rather they had very little on a website.

We might be spoilt for choice for Latics coverage in the local press soon.
The new Oldham Times have employed an ex Chron sub-editor to do Latics coverage, Matt Chambers has gone to the MEN and the level of Latics coverage has increased notably since then. They've also started an Oldham edition. Then, if Revolution are successful in ressurecting the Chron, that will be another source of local coverage.
I've seen:
Oldham Times
Oldham Reporter
MEN (Oldham Edition)
and now Oldham Chronicle.
I'm willing to support a local newspaper. Had the Chron publically stated it was struggling I may have supported it anyway.
BUT
I'm not buying four different publications!

- Due Dilligence
- Corney promises
- Gentlemen (and lady)
- Corney tant
- Fan sitting on the centre circle (circa 1998?)

How would this go down at your place of work.
Senior Manager announces to all and sundry that at least 2 of you are not good enough and he is going to recruit 5 new employees to take your job?
Replacing two people with five sounds like you work in the public sector.
And the worst of the two would be the manager of the new team of six.

Someone is putting Shez under pressure. It's not the fans and I doubt it's Shez.

Motherwell finished with eight men (well done Robbo) with Charles Dunne one of those sent off.
Lost 4-1.

Banks was woeful but even so, I can't see Fane and Banks playing together successfully.

Wrong formation.
This.
Several personnel may be wrong, but the tactics were worse.

I thought that Tierney was fairly well thought of, but he just wasn't good enough at the time to displace a very good Simon Charlton.
Fun fact: Norwich's full backs when they got promoted to the Premier League in 2010/11 were Tierney and Korey Smith!
I thought he was good, but I didn't pick up on that being the general feeling. It was the free to Shrewsbury that not many people seemed to care about.
Charlton left at the end of the season and subsequently retired. Poor decision making at the club looking to the future if he was released because of Charlton.
Edit: Still think of that goal of Charlton's against Gillingham though!

Can u imagine our medical?. Ok run on the spot, touch your toes, erm count backwards from one to ten. You're in!
How did Chris Killen pass that without getting injured or offside?

Same here, I can login on the website and watch the interviews etc that have been put up recently but I can't use the player app anymore.
I've done nothing.

Shrewsbury can do it as they've never been all seater. I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to do it.
They haven't been in the Championship or PL. But they have been all seater.

Shez goes.
Abdullah's man gets parachuted in.
Abdullah plays puppet master and picks the team.
Definitely the better of the two scenarios.
