Matt Smith for me has improved massively (i havent seen loads), but considering what hes made for himself in the last few matches, plus his goals in the FA Cup, plus his important goals against sheffield united, and i think also against chesterfield last season. Hes been a very useful and important player at times so i think he deserves a chance

Just wanted to know your thoughts on what you guys think....... My dad knows a employee of the club (i wont mention name), and my dad saw this person today and was talking about matt smith and his goals for the FA Cup this year. My dads not a football fan, but im a football fan and is always interested to see in how latics are doing and looks out for results. However my dad thinks oldham should get matt smith tied down on a longer contract for what hes done in the FA Cup and said that to the Source at latics. He said Matt Smith wont be here next season, he will definatley be leaving in the summer. I hope he doesnt leave personally, i havent been too many games this season but from what ive seen i think he deserves a chance especially with his fa cup exploits. Thoughts.......

Ive seen something, and i want to see what you guys think. Ive only been to 2 games this season (sheff wed 1st game, and doncaster cup game), ive seen snippets on tv and also know people who go to the matches and here same things every week. so the idea, i dont know wether dickov has done this already, but here goes... have a couple of days where the fans can go and speak to him, and maybe even the players to express there views to them, after all, as we all say all the time, it isnt cheap to watch this football. Very bored so thought i would see who you guys think we should sign this summer?

Ive heard a few that are similar ie Nicky Butt is 1, Paul Ince and the Paul Scholes 1. Would he be player manager or just manager if you know? To be honest id think it would be a decent move as he knows people at Man U and Newcastle who could teach him and also know of a few youngsters we could possibly borrow/sign. As you state though, wether it happens is another story.

just commentin on the danny crow post i did yesterday. ive seen him mainly on the tele, but a friend of mine lives near cambridges ground and been to a couple of games and looked very good. hed certainly do well in our league of what i saw and possibly championship.

does anyone think that guy from northwich victoria would useful? cant rememeber his name but was very tall, useful in the air, good defender and was a long- throw specialist. And in terms of scoring goals Danny Crow has scored a lot for cambridge united this season and looks a decent striker.
