  1. You're not called 'Mr. Oldham', so why should you know?

Up the road from Rochdale Road to the Civic Centre, turn right and cut back across the car park to the entrance to the Civic Suite. The meeting is upstairs in the Council Chamber.

Maybe a tattoo of all Oldhams important buildings and features is in order?

I could even include the 'water feature' in the town Centre

  2. A grand an half extra per week unfortunately these days seems to have more pulling power than 'face value' loyalty.

Januarys forum last year told everyone there really, the way he was, that he wasn't looking to stay!

And yes you'd defo be peed if he'd said that to you directly though!! :(

Yeah exactly, still sod the fat :censored: & roll on tomorrow ain't it!

  3. Quality player...bit of a mouthy manc though and we saw him do the opposition the last 2 seasons what he did to us on saturday. All part of his 'make up' but if KK goes in Jan, i'd welcome him back in a flash!!!

I hate him merely because of what he had said to me personally before that he would only leave if the Championship came knocking. Now Donny are in L1 last I remember, maybe they offered a better deal, maybe they have more potential & maybe hate is strong word but I'd always boo him simply because of that.

Who would of thought he was just telling the loyal fan what they wanted to hear hey <_<

  4. I thought Fulham had already had a look at him before he came here. I'm sure they looked when he was at Verona/Wolves and proclaimed him not of suitable <cough> temprament.

They were not wrong either, right gob:censored:e he is.

But he runs and runs, frustrates the hell out of people(fans included) and gets a few goals. Can't be too bad.

  5. All a big fuss over nothing if you ask me.

Basically it's too expensive to watch a game pay on the door at BP.

Whether it has to be like that to keep the club afloat I don't know, but we are in L1 and £20 p/game is ludicrous.

But we can't win either way, because drop the prices a few more will turn up but we will get less revenue per fan.

If we don't then people won't turn up till we are a 'comfortable' championship side.

  6. 371 ! That's a poor show really. Just shows how down-hearted the fans are this season.

Wasn't so much a dig at anyone, worded incorrectly? Probably not, there are certain fans you see everywhere no matter how bad, how far we have to travel, when the game is, where it is, what competition. The majority were there yesterday, they know who they are.

No disrespect to any stay aways you have your own reasons i'm sure, should they be family commitments etc.

Still disgusts me how they all crawl out when we are doing well though & make us have to queue to get tickets for games etc.

Just my own opinion. See you all on sat :)

  7. It makes a big difference when the manager or players give positive feedback about the support.

    Different Class !!

It's the same old story wherever we go in smaller numbers because it's normally the loyal fans, familiar faces who sing there hearts out, rather than when we take thousands to Huddersfield, Tranmere etc & don't make that much noise.

Long live the low travelling numbers i say.

  8. I want to see JP & McDonald i dont know why but i can just see them being a right force and working there socks off for each other.

I agree entirely, drop the big time charlie lording it up in Royton, not the first of last time it will be seen.

    JP & GM for me

  9. Just as it is picking up a bit,and i'm back to square one

Get with Zen, I work there :)

Not the cheapest around, but certainly a good service. And if you live in the 01706 area the connection is :censored: hot.

  10. Deal,Deal,Deal I,ll even lend a pen :deal2::deal2::deal2:

No deal, keep him monthly for now I say. I hate the old giving great in form players deals & seeing them becoming not so great.

Or another Nicky Banger as I say.

  11. I was sat with BigFin and Mac and I was just as wound up with this moron sat behind us. As many have said, this board gives us all the opportunity to express views and opinions in a sensible way, but to listen to outpourings of :censored: from the likes of this pillock who thinks he's a fan is a step too far. Constructive criticism can never be denied, but to constantly slag off the entire team (I never heard one word of encouragement from him) is pointless and kills the atmosphere for the true supporters around him.

BigFin's quote re the brain donor's comments on Ricketts' pass for the equaliser just about sums him up. If the k**bhead is reading this, do us a favour mate. Next away game, go and sit with the home supporters. Next home game, try the Rocky Rd end. Then you can slag off a new team every week and, when you have matured and understand the game more, come back to Latics and try to understand what you've been missing.

That's it - rant over. :bat:

Ironic how it is the accused wasn't the only one slagging off Ricketss I seem to remember the Champ manager correspondence being chorlted at by the very same bunch who are tearing strips off SuperTaylor.

He isn't the only one to make cheeky jibes.

  12. Crossley - 7/10 - apart from the fact that 'he only has one leg' he did well, good penalty save, unlucky he missed second time.

Eardley - 5/10 not brilliant, he's played much better.

Bertrand - 6/10 Quiet today, wasnt bad, wasnt brilliant.

Gregan - 6/10 no complaints from me.

Hazel - 7/10 give him a contract, solid defending again today.

    Taylor - 6/10 Average

Kilkenny - 5/10 not his best game for Latics, was off the pace at times but did make up for it with some of his runs and some of his passes.

Allott - 7/10 MOTM good solid midfielder, tracks back to win balls then takes them forwards

Liddell - well taken ball, his control is brilliant, shame he doesnt have the legs anymore really

Ricketts - 7/10 Good display, nothing too flashy.

Davies - 6/10 I feel his is going off the boil a little bit at the moment.

Wolfy 6/10 He should get more playing time. Simple as.

Macca - 6/10 On the pitch for all of 5 minutes didnt do anything wrong in that time.

Overall a very average performance today, while we didnt look like loosing it, we didnt look like beating them 3-0 either. 1-1 seems like a fair result, two weeks off now, players will be well rested for the annual event of Huddersfield away. Lets hope that 3000 Latics turn up again!

P.s. Has the Rugby finished yet?

Macca 6/10 how??????? The guy went clean through only to toe poke a shot at the keeper.

A complete inept display by the entire 11 considering we played a long period against 10 of the worst professional footballers ever to grace League One. Cheltenham will be relegated. We are in for a long , hard winter.

Absolute rubbish performance, anyone who thinks anything different must of been watching a different game!!!

How can we level the game up so early in the second half then as soon as they are reduced to ten not look remotely interested? Gregan & Hazell look solid together but don't give him a contract he'll only end up another average player, keep him month to month on his toes!!!

  13. Until the second goal went in yesterday the singing at Walsall was poor. There were only spasmodic chants and the odd chorus of OWTB. It picked up a bit after the penalty, when everyone started to relax a bit, and the singing was very good at the end of the game. I didn't notice whether Sean Gregan looked satisfied with OUR efforts.

Compared to the past 'different class' performances, WE can't take any credit for lifting THEM towards the victory.

In fairness, every single player came over at the end of the game and applauded the fans. And for the first time this season the players deserved the applause they received.
