The fight went out a while ago in people.

Slow and predictable play for the majority of the game again. Away team arriving again and getting numbers into the box when attacking. Certainly more than we ever dare to.

I think he's got six weeks to sort out his attacking play or he's gone. 90% of training time spent on attacking he says? Very hard to believe. If it's true it seems they're wasting a lot of time in training every week because it isn't at all effective.

Latics didn't make any comments after the game about it.

If it was seen by ref then surely it would have been red card and a penalty.

In far to many games we have been unable to perform the basics. Granted every now and then we do such as against Scunthorpe but it's frightening how many times we either mess up a pass, mis-control it or play someone into trouble with a poor pass

It is the very basics they're struggling with. Control, pass and particularly move. It was there parts of midweek but disappeared again yesterday. Pass played, stand and admire. No thought to move and create an angle for another pass.

Getting forward in numbers is another thing we don't do often enough.

You see them at any away game of ours. Usually arrive at 2.59 and immediately look for a steward to guide them to their seat. Ticket in hand like they're at the Odeon. Never mind that there's hundreds of empty seats.

If they are thinking of paying 22 grand for something like that they really shouldn't bother.

TP is too important for our youth set up. We make more money from that than from senior first teamer sales. Trotman, Philiskirk (twice), Tarky, Scott Spencer, Eaves, Coleman, Renshaw all sold to keep the club going.

If he got the job and it went badly, I'd hate to think that we'd have to sack him and lose one of the most important people at the club.

What if they handed him the job and got rid of the youth setup.
