  1. How can anyone be pissed with this? It says when your team are away, and it is only ST holders so doubt anyone is going to change teams. On Facebook some are suggesting that it is akin to knocking down another stand? We could announce we have signed Messi and some would moan, that they would rather have Ronaldo. I have Dale supporting mates I'll perhaps make use of this, those who don't want to don't. And as for this being the compensation for ST holders, I don't want one nor feel the need for one. Corney keeping the club going is my compensation.

  2. In terms of ST prices I would look at doing:

Renewal-£250, should always be cheaper to renew.

    Adult-£350

    Kid-£50

*For every kid ST you can buy an adult on for £150

For every adult ST get another for £200

Also add in 1/2 season tickets and monthly tickets at 10% less then it would cost to go to pay on the day for every game, as well as any random indie game deals eg. 1/2 price for women, free for kids.

But I'm just a fan, so what do I know.

  3. Some songs go too far and I think every fan has been there, but I have called a player a c**t while he was the pitch and then shook his hand after. As long you're not racist, homophobic or anything like sing what you like. Death rights and songs belittling the death of others also fall into the no-go area, if someone breaks those rules the club should take action otherwise let it be.

The players should be allowed to give it back also, nothing wrong with a player cupping his ears or showing us his name on the back of his shirt.

  4. FC United was formed because they didn't like the owners before they even knew what he wanted to do, they say it is the rising prices and things like but it's rubbish. Many who formed this club are former United fans who spat their dummy out when something happened they didn't like, there is no loyality towards that club. Many of their 'fans' do it as a novelty, and for me they sum what is wrong with football. They started at a lower level and bought they way up, using TV, newspapers and magazines to further they 'campaign'. They claim it is similar to AFC Wimbeldon but it's not, and the club rot.

They can't enter the football league on a moral basis, after all they must thing the whole system is corrupt. Otherwise they would have started supporting a well run lower league club, like us Rochdale, Bury, Macc or hell even Stockport. They didn't because they wanted a 'cause' and make names for themselves, the sooner people stop putting this club on a pedastal the better.

  5. I just hope he stays with us , heard a rumour in the Main Stand yesterday that we have done a deal with Watford for him end of season :disappointed::disappointed::disappointed:

The Main Stand is the worst place for a rumour, even worse than the internet. It is mainly people speculating, I once said something along the lines I think such a player would suit such a club. Towards the end of the match the woman in front turns to the person she is sat with and repeats my pure speculative statment as fact, and it was already a done deal. She did simply so she could then moan about how SC had no ambition.

  6. Brown looked every inch a commanding centre back, and is well worth keeping hold off until the May at least.

Bunn is a striker but clearly needs to play deep to give him space to run at a backtracking defender, that is when he looked most dangerous yesterday. But as others have said we didn't have much option, but I'd expect Simmo on the wing on Tues if fully fit, it not KMB will be ready. Would be nice if Bunn and Tonk got some time up front together before the end of the season.

  7. Well despite my personal doubts we look set to avoid relegation this season. However, for mine more to do with the lack of quality in this division morethan anything else, there are some woeful sides in league 1 this time round.

Now,the ball is firmly in mr corneys court, the pitiful attendances even in the face of the 'golden ticket' initiative highlight the mess perfectly. What does mr corney intend to do next? IS he looking for new partners or investment from elsewhere?Whar are the 'other 2' up to?

Whats the status of the ground redevlopments?Seems to have gone very quiet on that front? Is it happening and if so,when?

Critical close season coming up and i for one fear an exodus of the better players from BP without investment ..

Would have more weight to it if it wasn't for the fact we are fairly clear of the bottom four and haven't really been there all season, if it was by one or two points then fair enough. But if it was we wouldn't be having this thread in March would we? Can I ask do you think Charlton, Sheffield United, Huddersfield, MK Dons are all poor teams? Yes all but one have beaten us but we got good results against them earlier in the season, give the players some credit they are a decent side.

Corney used to tell us about every little development regarding the stadium and it broke down, he cearly feels another announcement and failure would drive more fans away. We are always looking for investors so unless you think SC is just turning people down because they are wearing a bad tie or something I don't see your point.

The attendances have improved since the golden ticket, but if you offer fans a £3 a match deal and they still don't come what more can you do?

  8. They have spent a lot and weren't great at our place yesterday, as good as we were I think a team with their budget should have beaten us (with our weakened team). It also doesn't help when you ban the local paper and fall out with the journalists for printing the word 'Immature' as headline, despite the fact that is how you described the team's performance.

  9. It must be with a view to signing him in the summer, if he has improved on his abilty to put the ball in the back of the net he will be one hell of a player. That goal against Notts County was awesome, but there were way to many easy misses. Hopefully we will see him against Bournemouth because the idea of him and Kuqi is a fairly excitable one.

  10. He has since Tweeted that we have options with various players, Kuqi and Furman are two. Sky reported earlier in the season that Diamond has a rolling deal, in terms of who we keep I think we will manage a fair few.

T doubt many teams will offer Wes that high a deal-bad injury record and coming out of surgery, Simmo recieved a fair few others in the summer but none in an area he wants to work, he said he wants to stay local so good chance with him, Lee will want to stay in the North West so again good chance. Kuqi is unlikely to get an offer from a Championship club and has already said that if he plays in League 1 it will be with us. Morais seems happy here under PD and won't get many bteter offers, Black is unlikely to recieve too many offers also.

But I think we will lose Taylor and Furman plus any we get rid off, but what ever happens we will have to wait until they get off their hols. Once one signs though, offers will follow suit.
