  1. Barry stepping down can only be a good thing. He has used his roles at Oldham for his own personal gain.

Glad that Abdullah is bringing in fresh faces. Only met Paul Snoddy and his Wife briefly. Know they both have there own business & both big Oldham fans. Which means they undeeatand both from a business pespective & a fans one also.

Remember when we didn't constantly want/need smoke blowing up our arses as fans?

I reckon it wasn't even that long ago, 3 or 4 years maybe..

A very recent phenomenon that's getting worse and worse at a rapid pace.

Does my head in when Wellens (and Shez before him) is asked "and what about the fans...?" on Ifollow before & after EVERY FUCKING GAME.

I love being part of a big, loud away following as much as anybody but this constant, relentless self back patting is starting to do my fucking head in.

    'Morning all....

Agree was explaining this to a few of the young Athleticos who didn't get a ticket and desperate to be in with the rest.

Told them some of the best Atmopsheres at away games was the originality and unique chants fans get going.

Just need a few loud voices to get it going.

One of several comments from the Dale forum after last night's game.

"KH is happy enough to take the praise when we're doing well banging on about how good he is and how we're always over achieving. We play crap and it's everyone else's fault, never his. Cannot stand the guy, couldn't give two sh*ts about what he has or hasn't done for Dale if that's how he constantly treats the fans who pay money to go and watch week in week out however well or bad we play. Fans that have been there since before he was born and fans that will be there long after he has left.

Go and manage a team like MK Dons or Blackburn etc and see how bigger crowds turn on you after losing 3 or 4 games and you're out of a job in 3-4 months. He's done a lot for Rochdale obviously but I don't think he appreciates what Rochdale has done for him and how easy he has it here compared to managers at other clubs in terms of fan and board support."

He his in his comfort zone at Rochdale he knows they have been pushing above there weight. Likelihood is he knows he won't get job higher than League one also.

  4. I liked what I have seen agree he has work to do and clearly won't be anywhere near Wolves Starting line up or that of a Championship side either.

I would keep him, its obvious when Doyle is back he will play second fiddle to him & Davies. However the fact he can only last 60min or so. He could become a good impact player to bring off the bench if needed. He has goals in him an eye for goal and clearly likes to run with the ball.

Getting to Newquay from Plymouth won't be easy. But I think it's doable on public transport.

Think the trains from Manchester might not be on- strike action.

I'm going, bringing my Dad too for his first game of the season. I've got a complimentary train ticket for the Friday.

Wroked it all out two trains after the game ends both involve a change but easy to able.

Went to South America earlier this year and took a couple in. River Plate in Buenos Aires, and Cienciano in Peru, who play at 3400m above sea level. They're in the second division, but won the equivalent of the Europa League 15 years ago. No seats, just concrete steps to sit on. £10 for a ticket, shirt, and food.

I quite like the cut of MM's jib after listening to it last night. Seems a decent fella and answered the questions posed to him well. You could tell he couldn't let us know more obviously but I think he didn't answer in that annoying politician way, plus we gleaned quite a bit of useful information with regards to the potential takeover.

I must say, it's probably the most positive I've felt about the club since TTA took over. It feels proper wrong!

I am one of his biggest Critics & far to often he diverts attention changes the subject  or doesn't give a decent answer.

However felt last night he did come across well seemed to have more info on Abduallah.

let him go to Wigan if a deal could be done to keep Byrne? Considering the recent upturn in Dummigan's form with Wilson as back up.

A few months ago heard a few months back that he himself wanted the move.

With the upturns in form and ment we could keep Bryne I be happy for this straight swop.

But still think he his a talent player with a lot to offer and gives us plenty of options so be good to keep both.

Looking at a Stuttgart and Hoffenheim double header later this month. I wanted to go to Milan v Juve but the flights are cack

Not been to Hoffenheim, Frankfurt play them same day we play Rochdale.

But a lot of German lads not just Frankfurt have told me to ignore it one or the poorer one there compared to Mk Dons middle of no where not actually in Hoffenheim itself.

stuttgart suppose to be good and got a good write up in Football weekends magazine.

  10. Lithuania 0 England 1 small ground reminded of Conference North but Vilnius is a great Little city.

Latvia 4 Andorra 0 played At home of Skonto Riga a modern 3 sided ground just under 5,000 there good number of English fans.

You up can see why both teams struggle reminded of a struggling League 2 against a tiny Non League team in the FA cup. Was 2-0 at half time Latvia Andorra did have some a good chance first half, a goal disallowed second half & there skipper attempted over head kick.
