Yes the trust have a right to ask questions. Same with the scoreboard. But what the trust should do is stick to facts. So they've been told for example the scoreboard fund hasn't been touched. Yet they're straight on here basically calling Corney a liar. That's people who are in the trust.

I used to think they did a job and respected them. Not now. They're just after a moan about anything like the rest a lot of them

How well do you know any of the people on the trust other than via on here?

Compared to 4 years ago under Barry Owen when stuff was kept quiet alot of these fans where asking questions what others where on here.

Matt Chambers also mentioned it on Twitter not just someone who wanted to use Twitter to shit stir?

For me there has to be some sort of truth in it? Maybe the club where felt they where pushed into a corner?

  2. We have had many of these so called winding up orders over two years. Told not to worry soon be paid off.

The worrying thing is they are becoming far to much of a common occurrence.

Yes we ain't in a mess like Blackpool, Charlton, Coventry or Orient.

However it's the right that the trust are asking these questions now.

I look back to when Paul Dickov was in charge and we had that month of few games due to postponements.

If one of these winding up orders occurred again and we had very little money in the kitty. Or Mother Nature his us hard.

Yes there is some fans that will use anything for an Anti Corney right but the Corney lovers need to accept other fans have the right to be concerned and express there worries.

Coming over from Sweden for the match against Fleetwood next week. For me, there has been only OAFC since the 90s but this is the first time I go over to see the Latics live. Is there any nice pub where you can have a beer before the game? / Adam Andersson City of Växjö Sweden

There is is also the 02 suite in the corner of the ground rifle or White Hart best before the game.

But many lads this year from Holland, Germany and often come in here after the game.

  4. Rot Weisse Oberhausen 1 SC Wattenscheid 09 O

Not the best game I been to, last min goal for the home side. Love there mascot getting the crowd going and loud ultras.

Germany 1 England 0 only a friendly but Borussia Dortmund Signal Iduna park lived up to its reputation

Daisy Hill 3 Whiteport Alport 7 North Western Counties League Division 1.

Entry £5 pin Badge £3.50 Cup of tea £1.

This game had everything Daisy Hill where 3-0 up within 20min game looked dead and buried goals includes a penalty and a own goal. Then Whitchurch scored 4 goals in the first to go into half time leading then scored another 3 second half to win 7-3.

Great for the neutral and to be fair for that level decent away fans who made plenty of noise.

Glossop North End 3 Tadcaster 1 great little game Glossop 2-0 up early on

  5. I thought union was great, but one of the few occasions I would say get there early. Missed at least half an hour.

Bochum's a great day/week out/place to go drinking. Can't say the football pulled up too many trees for me.

Good game finished 1-1 Aue could of been 3-0 up in opening 10min second half as was all Bochum so a draw a fair result.

Found Bochum to be really quiet and no where open tonight am clearly in wrong part of time.

Also saw Tower Hamlets v Ilford on Fri ground one stand and a running track

  6. Breakfast club [Dave & Geoff] are arranging match tickets to save the £3 extra we'd have to pay on the gate, if anyone is interested. See email thread.

    I'm on the following more sensible trains than the breakfast club will likely be on, if anyone is interested in some travelling companions;

    OUT 11:35 ARR 12:21

    RTN 18:33 ARR 19:29

Tom, maybe see you at Kings Cross?

    Cheers,

    Andy

How much have you paid for your train tickets seen some come up at just over £18

  7.

I think they still are Tom. I haven't plucked up the courage to apologise to her personally yet. I'm starting to think I've got some sort of early onset...I've been making plans to go to Peterborough since the fixture list came out...despite the fact that my wedding anniversary is sort of a fixed and known date, like Christmas.

    Nevermind mate

Looks a decent time mate will aim for that one.

    Rosa them tickets going spare?

  9. Except the ones wanting a change to Gate 16 then realised that Gate 16 is the MSP RRE side, after it was pointed out to them.

Gate 26 is their new moniker.

The irony of the original name change coming just before we announced the movement of fans isn't lost either.

Given this has all started after or around the time George was on the back page of a Chron I detect a hint of jealousy.

If there were chants of that, then I'm very happy to take my top off in solidarity with George. Trust me it is not a pretty site.

Especially as the "harder, nastier" elements of the Athleticos will still get their arses handed to them in a fight with any other firm.

I have took no sides I spoke to George in Oldham last week and showed me the tweet he was sent about the interview.

I did stand second half with the Athleticos yesterday & did try to encourage George to also stand.

Whatever has gone one being Oldham it will all be forgotten about with in weeks.

Heard a few chants at Walsall but not off them chanting stand at home games with the Athleticos.

  10. Just under 4,400 home fans there today, about 1000 up on the norm. I would still like to see regional leagues at our level.

Even though I love the long away days economically, it surely makes sense to cut travel costs and increase Match day revenues.

Disagree completely some of the best away days home games in recent have Been from some of the Southern teams. Games with Norwich, Pompey, Southampton I rather play these teams often.

Teams like Crewe, Fleetwood & Port Vale don't always bring large support anyway.

Plus you can spend as much at a local game as one down South as your more likely to arrive at a local game earlier.

And likelyhood is if it was a Northern League and teams did Cat Tickets we be a CAT A

  11.

Heard quite a few good things about Union Berlin off a few lads that have also been.

Longtimeblue, the well-known Droylsden-ite and myself are heading to Italy for a few games over a weekend in March. Pro-Vercelli v Hellas Verona followed by Milan v Genoa on the Saturday and then Atalanta v Pescara on the Sunday.

Union are worth the trip but there ground is small and gets filled quick so worth looking at who there playing. Fair few overseas fans going watching them stood with a Scottish bloke they called Braveheart who gave up his Newcastle season ticket to come watch Union.

On your Itallian trip I have asked Stockwell to pick me a few pin badges up from there.

  12. Anyone done a Paris club? Rosa wants to go to R3d Star because they sound like Communists whereas the :censored:ed up and calamitous history of Paris FC appeals to me

Not send them play but looking at visting there ground when am over also the other Paris side where the original PSG.

Did Curzon v Worcester and Buxton v Stafford the other week.

In a weeks time got two more German games lined up.

Bochum at home and another one I cannot spell for the life off me.
