I have had what I belive is a brain wave whilst sitting at work today, I sit there for hours it seems staring into space trying to think of ways to raise the club funds
Here is my latest idea, i must stress this has NOT been ran through the club yet but interest i belive is the only possible way this could happen
Have you ever thought/wanted to take you seat in the hosptality of the ground??
Saturday 6th August we play at home to Sheff Utd in NPOWER league 1 match
My proposal to the club is this.... Every fan has a chance to win 2x adult hospitality seats by making the lowest unique bid! The way this would work is every fan who is interested will visit the club shop and make a bid with an admin charge of £3.00p each and make a bid and leave their name, address and contact details, for example i make a bid of £3.67p for instance I pay this upfront and do not receive this back regardless of wether i win or not, a 2nd bidder makes a bid of £3.66p which happens to be the lowest unique bid and they win 2 adult hosptality seats for the
opening game of the season for yes just £3.66p (Unreal value)
This would only be valid if the club earns over £100 i.e recieves over 35 bids (easy i would say if advertised on the clubs website) all funds after the ticket price have been paid off go to the PlayerShare scheme and would be presented by way of a cheque possibly before the opening game
If the club runs this today 1 bid per day yes just 1 would make £100 in total, a piece of pee if u ask me and a no loser for both the club and fans
Bidding could start as soon as the club give go ahead and winner announced 3rd August

Should e-mail the club urge them to make an approach maybe a few my give the board something to think about for our club

Next season is around pre-season training needs to start in your local pub and of course we need some new songs for next season as well as signings

I saw something in an Brazilain league game a few years back when the team score a goal their fans stand up sit down, stand up sit down, stand up sit down, and repeat the process about 10 times thus creating a wave effect looked pretty good and might get us on the football league show a bit more :-)

Going into the playing budget doesn't mean spending it on players, there are more than enough good free transfers left out there which then means the money could be used on wages, that's what I would do with it, the only thing i would say is u dont want tio upset morale, if you bring in a player and pay thim 1,000 more a week than your current top earner people will get :censored:ed off with it quite rightly
Look at Chelsea, Torres has came in on as much if not more than their top earners as they and the players have not accepted him for that, on top of this he aint preforming
Just imagine we give Donaldson £500 more than our top earner if he was coming to your work place doing that would you be happy???

375,000 less 20% remember lads so its more like 300,000 but saying that im sure if Charlton go up there will some extra money, in fact i would be hoping they do as i would be pretty sure Latics would have missed out on that chance perhaps the deal would raise to 500,000 on that basis
This is why i hate undisclosed transfers, we pay players wages and don't get to see the value the club sold them for
If we get a striker ot two, 2 keepers, 2 defenders and a midfielder i would be happy and i dont think with this money we will not be paying anyones wages late, i think we should concentrate on the positves from the deal
Oh and I really hope we dont get idiots who boo him on his return, its a good chance to get a good crowd on a CAT a game what with him and Evina coming to town that should make us a few bob

Yes, granted i would get another Arsenal season ticket but i would buy my way out of this league with regular contrubutions and a brand new staduim, i would also reward season ticket holders (of which i am not) for sticking through with the club in the harder times

Cisak has only made 22 senior league appreances but then is very young so we would need to bring another good keeper in not just someone to be a number 2 on top of him
Still think Donaldson was a non starter but then again he aint signed for anyone yet, Mcdonald was the one i thought might happen out of the 2

The only thing i would say is the season starts very soon, if Dickov is in training he cant get deals done, its not just about signing the right player its about signing the right personality for the squad, is it me or is this season starting a week earlier than last time I would expect 1 in by the end of the week, i really hope we are not putting all our time and effort into players like Donladson to tharound?
en maybe miss out on them and waste time on other targets, but im sure PD knows what he is doing, its not July 1st yet so why the doom and gloom
