  1. If he'd done his job and ended the misery when he should have done, we might now be in a better position in the league. We'd have been at least a month further down the line with a new manager and hopefully a team ethic that would give us some solidity and progression. I think he let his heart rule his head and because he had hoped Paul would b able to turn things around, he may now have cost us our place in League 1. That in my book makes him culpable in every respect and he should be feeling extremely embarrassed at what has seen the manager take responsibility for his weakness. I wish Paul all the best in the future, really likeable guy but for whatever reasons it didn't work out. Mr Corney take note, give the open letters and media politics a rest and grow some balls, our future rests on your next decision!!!
  2. if I need to explain it then I guess you think it's ok to do what they did!First of all it's illegal, lack of self restraint...kids you could kinda understand but there were middle aged men on there! I was full of sheer jubilation but never once thought of running onto the pitch!
  3. All the idiots who ran on the pitch must shoulder the lion's share of the blame, was it worth it? Not only did they make us look like a bunch of knob head supporters but they also stopped the players celebrating with the fans. The club are also culpable if the allegations that the knowingly allowed opposing fans to buy tickets in the home stands, is correct? I would suggest that extra police and more competent stewarding will suffice, this is however an added expense that the club would have to stomach. It'd be interesting to see how Corney and co react, reduce the amount of home supporters and face a massive backlash or increase policing costs? I still can't make any sense of it all anyway!
  4. I always think before I write but assume people have a level of intelligence and will get it, I do have an habit of being misunderstood sometimes.....must be my sarcastic nature, or maybe I leave things open to lots of different interpretations just get a reaction. # attentionseeker
  5. Right, thanks for clearing that up, all makes sense now.
  6. who was that then? Commercial managers don't usually get involved in contract negotiations!
  7. Nearly there, do you need some help with the structure of your opinion?
  8. I like this one, gives me the chance to ask the question......how much has he personally lost ( rough estimate) and before you answer, are you sure?
  9. I agree with the fact that we'd be screwed without him but are ŵe screwed with him? Sometimes the norm becomes reality and what could become a better reality is dependant on having the balls to screw the norm! just a thought!! I do actually like the guy but I like a lot of people but that is insignificant in respect of OAFC!
  10. Iwelumo and Barnard should be the biggest offensive threat in this division, just hope it works out. Without the FA Cup money, there's no way we'd have got them and we'd have had a new manager in place....funny old game innit !
  11. Anyway back to the point, bit of a dilemma in front of PD, especially with the Everton game live on tv!
  12. Read it back Rummy and readdress your warning to the source, yes I reverted to swearing but no worse than some of the administrators on here! I've debated etc with you and many others of the old guard for many a year and had the decency to hold my hands up when I'm wrong, not often but once or twice.
  13. Yeah, apologies for the language, I do need to choose words for personal insults more like Schlieb's in future!
  14. It :censored:s on the ones who need to think twice about the possibility of the seagull :censored:ting on them!!!!
  15. The obvious sometimes takes time to become obvious, some people just see what they see!!
  16. Jesus, give me your mobile no, I'll ring and try to explain it slowly!
  17. I asked a question based on the two new strikers signing and added a conundrum for Dickov, hardly slated any of the signings or the reasons for doing so, I'm really happy they've signed. Now if a few of you are too blind to read between the lines then that's life, Matt Smith stepped up to the plate against Liverpool, just asking if that would now count for anything! Go on Hallam, go for the hatrick or even better voice an opinion based on your thoughts now I've explained it more clearly ;-)
  18. Point completely missed, try reading into not over!!!
  19. What anger, you need to have a word with your sensors!
