    I've got nothing wrong with mellor at centre back but i really think we do need a defender who's strong in the air for when we play physical teams so they can't target him.Has Grounds never been a cb because he's a pretty big guy and not bad in the air?

    Oumare Tounkara against Huddersfield when he basically powered through their defence with his pace every single time a ball was played through and bagged a goal.Apart from that he didn't do much and missed a header from a couple of yards out.

    Against a fairly week Ireland squad.Can't believe people expect us to do anything at the world cup.We're years behind the likes of Germany and even the likes of Belgium who seem to have much stronger youngsters.

    Been released from Morecambe at the age of 30. Would you have him back or is he past it? http://www.morecambefc.com/news/article/haining-to-leave-795247.aspx says they couldn't offer him a suitable contract and sounds like he was a key player for them.
