First Half was dire. Second Half was a combination of gradual improvements. Walsall played to their A game and were deserved winners. Tarky looked dominant and certainly MOM. Early days like you say but today was too much hoof ball and a lack of ball playing. On to the next!

Are we going to get that centre back from forest? We are In desperate need of one as despite tarky improving at the back, I hate seeing mellor there as weve all seen that mellor is capable of becoming a real ball playing threat in midfield, thus being quit wasted and so need someone there with experience or talent to improve upon. Not to dampen the mood on a cracking result nor purposely bring a story from the grave, however is LJ going to get an assistant? Murray looks like he is fitting the bill, but I worry we need an experienced head alongside LJ before we are further along in the season.

It seems that from the joy of the league 1 title and promotion back to the championship its still sour at the keepafloat stadium. I call it the Paul Dickov syndrome. Their forum is a bundle of laughs if you get the chance to view it. Mvoto snatched from under their noses and no proper squad apparently, but on the Brightside, they've Dean Furman and Paul Butler.

Anyone reckon he may have made a quick call to LJ to accept his contract offer prior to his move to barnsley? After all, there was no deadline date XD

The entire professonal leagues now seem to be under the wing of Sky. Latics will play in the SKY bet football league 1! I wonder what the future of the football league holds...
