    Pretty sure the youth kid who's car was smashed was on the club website not so long ago congratulating him on passing with the latics driving school. Poor fella!!

    First Half was dire. Second Half was a combination of gradual improvements. Walsall played to their A game and were deserved winners. Tarky looked dominant and certainly MOM. Early days like you say but today was too much hoof ball and a lack of ball playing. On to the next!

    Are we going to get that centre back from forest? We are In desperate need of one as despite tarky improving at the back, I hate seeing mellor there as weve all seen that mellor is capable of becoming a real ball playing threat in midfield, thus being quit wasted and so need someone there with experience or talent to improve upon. I hope Lj acts and gets one in before the peterborugh game

    Not to dampen the mood on a cracking result nor purposely bring a story from the grave, however is LJ going to get an assistant? Murray looks like he is fitting the bill, but I worry we need an experienced head alongside LJ before we are further along in the season.

    Simple post, who do you reckon will be promoted, who do you reckon will be relegated and where do latics position themsleves come may 3rd. Wolves, Brentford, Peterbrough (promotion) Swindon, port vale, gillingham, walsall (relegation) Latics will come a comfortable 12th place

    It seems that from the joy of the league 1 title and promotion back to the championship its still sour at the keepafloat stadium. I call it the Paul Dickov syndrome. Their forum is a bundle of laughs if you get the chance to view it. Mvoto snatched from under their noses and no proper squad apparently, but on the Brightside, they've Dean Furman and Paul Butler.
