  1. 2002/2003: 5th on 82 Points (Lost to QPR in play offs) 2003/2004: 15th on 57 Points (7 off relegation) 2004/2005: 19th on 52 Points (1 off relegation) 2005/2006: 10th on 65 Points (6 off Play offs) 2006/2007: 6th on 75 points (Lost to Blackpool in play offs) 2007/2008: 8th on 67 points (9 off playoffs) 2008/2009: 10th on 65 points (9 off playoffs) 2009/2010: 16th on 52 points ( 2 off relegation) 2010/2011: 18th on 56 points (9 off relegation) 2011/2012: 16th on 54 points (11 off relegation) 2012/2013: 19th on 51 points (3 off relegation) - We have such strange seasons. We are either in the play offs, where we lose! Miss out on the play offs by a few points or avoided relegation by a few points. It seems to have all gone down hill through the appointments of Dave Penney and Paul Dickov so lets hope Lee Johnson is the mark of an uprising in the table. An average league position of 14th in the last decade, but I sense a good season this season, so lets be optimistic! In LJ and the board we trust! :comeon:

  2. I could be entirely wrong here, but I am sure that it was either Alan Hardy or Simon Corney who said that the club were looking at using Boundary Park as a ground for concerts and gigs and they published a list of potential artists who were interested in playing. What ever happened to this idea? Sounded a decent profit maker. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/8/news/65783/biggest-names-in-music-could-star-at-boundary-park

  3. Only reason I have it is I can't get to the games and so my only other option is to listen to commentary. The interviews are shabby as are the highlights but the lack of stuff on there on the off season compared to other clubs despite being charged full monthly fee for it is not on!

  4. We'll agree to disagree on this one.

I think its too early to judge. If after 46 games, he scores say a fair few vital goals and is solid at the back, I wouldn't be surprised at him going in the summer. All it takes ala matt smith is a heap of good performances and your sought after. Exception this time around is we have a possibility of getting a fee

  5. Dickov in disguise.

Trust the young lads; they will produce.

Hasn't mellor come out in the chron saying that LJ has put him on a new diet and fitness regime for over pre season and that he is feeling better and fitter from it. Im interested to see how the lad turns out pre season and the first few league games. Also, does anyone know when players report back for pre season?

  6. Let not forget Corney told fans he was ready to Pay Smith contract up. I am sad to see him go but not gutted, his end of season performances and goals helped kept us up. But if he did sign a new deal and the goals dried up? suppose at Leeds if it goes bad there will always be a team in League 1 or 2 who will take a gamble on him.

I would have him back! The second half of the season he was star man up front... had we signed him up on a 2 year deal, gave him a full season to prove himself, I reckon we could have got a fee of some 'nominal' sort :shakeit::laught30:

  7. On our fav rumours site, Kennedy has been rumoured to sign. For one I would welcome him, as he from what ive seen of him (going to dale games with friends) he has stood out in midfield, quite powerful going forward and a good shot on him. From when Rochdale were in League 1 (under hill) he did well and all Rochdale fans rate him! Good news, he is out of contract, so would any one take him? Get him on a 2 year deal LJ!

  8. Browsing through the list of players released by premier league clubs. Obviously wages is a huge stumbling block, as is agent fees etc in signing them, but do you think LJ would be interested in: Sanchez Watt- ST (Arsenal) Ross Turnbull - GK (Chelsea) Danny Wilson- Def (Liverpool) Ryan McGivern- LB (Man City) Reece Brown- Def (Man Ure) Tom Adeyemi- CM (Norwich) Danny Seaborne- Def (Southampton) Matthew Lund- CM (Stoke) - Just some of the names I picked off from the list: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11670/8763185/Florent-Malouda-and-David-Bentley-head-Premier-League-free-transfer-list
