    I still cant believe that the club haven't made this move if I'm honest.

     

    Bigger atmosphere and better facilities creates bigger crowds (as long as the players are doing their bit).

     

    I never understood the "I have sat in this stand for years" argument.

     

    I have been in the main stand for 30+ years but I can guarantee if a new lookers is built with better facilities I will be off before you can say ":censored:inghuddersfieldknuckledraggingbastards".

     

    Totally agree.

     

     

    When the Chaddy end was standing and the RRE was roofless the away fans didn't have an hope of controlling the atmosphere.

    Definitely time to get every advantage working for the team!

     

    I sit in the main stand (half way line) and can hardly hear the chaddy end, whereas even a few away fans can be clearly heard!

     

    The better atmosphere and fan experience might help to keep some of the extra £10 ST youngsters too.

    I have been a few times and seen a fair few footy players!

     

    I actually had a pint (while watching Ipswich beat Barnsley in the Championship play off final) with the infamous Nigel Jemson several years ago whilst telling him that his cup final winner against us ruined my life!

     

    He was actually telling me that his agent was in touch with us at the time to sign him up........ I would guess it was about 1999?

     

     

    There's a scene in Hancock(Will Smith) That I would like to see re-enacted with Nigel Jemson(Spit) and Mark Hughes(Spit) not bothered which way round!

    This was Monday 7th of May - so should be end of this week or so.

     

    ''Dickov added that contract offers will probably be given to the players towards the end of the week.

     

     

    He says they will be given between 10/14 days to decide whether to accept after which they will be withdrawn.

     

    Dickov explained: "We cannot have a repeat of last summer when negotiations dragged on for most of the close season.''
