Because we are a better team with him in there, fucking hell the kids come in , plays positive and works relentlessly yet some want to write him off after less than half a dozen senior games.

It's no wonder our managers won't play youngsters, we have fans who don't have a fucking clue how to nurture and support young players, fucking morons.

Is it any wonder he's leggy when he's covered more ground than any player bar none today. He's a far better option than Gardner or Lundstrum and he's our player.

    Great post.

Kitching was piss poor and words fail me with Hammond who looks lost and way off the pace!

Should have won it on chances but we were second best and a point is the least Southend deserved.

Disagree regards Hammond. Think he’s a tidy player who just needs to fill out to compete in the man’s game. Still think he offers summer tho.

So my statement of not selling out was correct then? Everyone who wanted to go was able to do so, and I reckon even if they don’t give us more than the initial 2400 it’ll be the same for Halifax. Definitely agree that results of our next 5 could determine that, but I’ll maintain 2400 will be enough.

Unless there was a group of 5 mates who wanted to go.

Nothing half, no real threat from either side. Game is there for the taking.

Exactly it’s the first half ffs !! I think at some point Green will come on we will go 4 at the back and we will take over. I’m not at the game so unsure of the conditions but surely there’s a reason/plan why we changed ends at kick off ? I’m feeling confident if the win. Comfortable win too.

Agree with all except I would do the same as 5pm. I’d rather the prospect of Green coming off the bench rather than Sutton if things need changing. It gives us a better chance to stay solid at the back. So I think he has this one spot on.

And to add to this, Green can consider himself  very unlucky. You’ve got to be cutthroat at times in pro football though.

I’m not a fan of the idea of not changing a team just because it won the last game. If it can be improved or if a different set up gives us a better chance against the next opponent then shouldn’t be afraid to change.

Hogan is not a left back. He did well on Saturday but a better team would have made more of it. Kitching brings balance to the left side.

So it’s a toss up between Green and Sutton. Maybe he’s gone for Sutton to be a bit more defensively solid? Personally I’d have preferred to see Green start at rwb but Sutton did well at rb on Saturday.

Bit of a daft thread to start, especially when you're giving a selection of subjective opinions, based, however loosely, on temporary periods of form, which could just as quickly change for the better or worse, as they already have.

This is a forum for supporters to voice a view, not to be lambasted or ridiculed for doing so if it doesn't fit with perceived wisdom (which itself has a habit, naturally, of changing from month-to-month) of a handful of people who take on the role of the arbitrator of sensible opinion.

    Shut up you tart

    Everything and every games matters.

This gutless lot game from behind on Tuesday, well in the mix in the playoffs.

All good sir, enjoy the win, Wembley win on the 4th May!!!

I was being sarcastic to that morbid sod @GKing521 as he is always on the hunt for any negatives in the most positive of places. I enjoy every win. And unlike some on here I don’t believe there is such thing as a bad goal to score.
