Well maybe now with Thommo in charge the players can be coached into playing a certain way instead of being too reliant on stats, stats , stats. Feel like too much time was spent in the past on stats , rather than hard yards on the training ground . I know stats are important but felt it was being overdone for NL team with a rookie manager , Hopefully we will see some improvement when more time is available on the training ground and we can add some players .

In his Interview he talked about new players , I just think the ball doesnt stick enough up front apart from when it goes to Norwood which shouldnt be his primary job. He might want to trade for someone to partner Norwood.I would swap Nuttall and Fondop for a new better partner for Norwood. As well two midfielders a winger and a right back .

Yarddog is bang on in what is probably one of the best posts he has made . The last three games have highlighted why Unsworth set up the team to play the way they did.

Hope and Tollit have had there chance from the subs bench and not taken it although to be fair had limited time. Dont think Thompson had the final say on all the players probably recomended 2/3 per position . If he gets the job I can see him moving on a few including some of our much vaunted strike force .

lets hope so, we need this sorting quickly and a few new players in. Bet there is no money for players which is why we might possibly end up with the  cheap option. Hope I am wrong.

I mentioned it last week , I agree hes a bit of a show pony sometimes and needs to do more . If he scores early he thinks he is done for the day . 

Never knew Lord was offered the job before Frizzell. He was a Chadderton lad , he came to our school Greenfield Lane to coach us once . Our head Mr Winterbottom was a massive Latics fan and instilled latics into all of us . Not that it was needed with me my elder brother, dad, and grandad made sure of that.

Why do people insist on making the same stupid comments about players and the team .When we all know the squad is imbalanced and needs reinforcements no matter who the manager is . Just like the rest of the forwards we have , they cant do anything with no service . To Norwoods credit at least he looks for the ball and doesnt give it away cheaply.

Now I know it's early days for Thompson but this mindset about worrying about others has to change particularly when we go to these shitty little grounds with a few hundred fans, we shouldn't be fearing no one.

 

Listen to opposition managers post match, they all bar none know we are going to sit in, surrender possession and hope to nick one on the break, that has to change. I don't care who we play from Chesterfield to Kidderminster we should be showing more and taking it to teams particularly with the forwards we have at our disposal.

Untill we sort out RB and Midfield expect much of the same away from home we dont have the players . Wealdstone lost at Chesterfield by the odd goal and beat Woking before playing us . Think people sometimes  over estimate our forwards and no one has found the right balance yet. One thing for sure though if fit Norwood should play. Maybe Fondop will return tonight and get sent off lol.

Really hope you are right, and hope the goals are shared between Norwood and Reid . Although Reidy scored a great finish Saturday dont think he did enough. That said there wasnt much created for him either so . Lets see how they do  CYB!!
