Any truth in what Im hearing that he hasnt been at the club this week ?

He gave up and showed a side of himself ive never seen, watching from the stand some of his mannerisms off camera where shocking, he wasnt the only one Kenny and Elokobi where equally as bad which considering their pedigree was strange to see.

I agree but we did get a good couple of seasons out of the majority of those and brought in some good transfer fees at the time, as it is now any reasonable offer is likely to be accepted, I know its the nature of the beast but its far more difficult for the current manager to operate as things stand.

One major advantage that Royle had was he was always allowed to build on previous seasons work, the current manager doesnt even have the luxury from window to window, its hard to sustain any sort of promotion effort when there is very little continuity, looking at the squad Christmas photo from last season the only survivors are Philliskirk and Dayton if you can put him in that bracket, if you look at the teams up there only Bristol and Notts County have had anywhere near the same turnover of player and both clubs have spent well with significantley greater resources, for me the only chance we have of a sustained assault on the play off places is to try to keep a core of a squad together which we all know is near on impossible in our current prediciment.

May be too late to arrange now but I agree with regards the atmosphere was great support.

Isnt it his job to say it as he sees it ? How was he supposed to report it ? He has hardly sensationalised anything it did actually happen hats off to him for his fair and honest appraisal, if the players are not comfortable with it so be it they need to pull their socks up get on with it and remember what they are paid to do, anyone who compares it to their own day job is deluded, turn up for 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon and try to apply yourself is it really that difficult ?

Where has the work ethic gone in the team ? The best footballers in the world are as good without the ball as they are with it, why have our players suddenly thought they dont have to put a shift in ?

The Athleticos will continue much the same as the club does I willl still support both whats the problem with me not attending games there are more fans that dont go than attend but still check the results, I am a fan but im also a customer maybe im at a stage when the money I spend following the team cant be justifyed maybe I shouldnt of shared it on here but thats where im at.

Who picks out the nominations ? They dont watch the same games as me, I think Winchester has been very unfortunate this season by far our best player at times, granted he frustrates at times but dont all flair players ?

May be a case of too many cooks, I know its the way it is these days but I always feel too many ideas and input could have an unsettling effect, Dean Holden will have his own ideas and his appointment may have changed the squad dynamic.

Think Winchesters one of them who fans love or hate but theres no doubt he was our best performer during our best run this season particularly at home, Johnson does add quality but at what expense ? We seem to have lost our shape to accomodate him and his work ethic which was demonstrated yesterday is shocking, the manager appears to have lost faith in 3 or 4 of his squad and that cant be great for team morale neither. Rachubka, Dayton and Winchester can all consider themselves unfortunate to be the fall guys , all three played their part in one of our most successful starts in years but for whatever reason their faces dont seem to fit.

I respect you for that and fair play Id say you were in a very small minority though. Staying behind and clapping them off against Yeovil was enough for me, It was hard enough writing that off but I made excuses for it, I just really struggled to comprehend yesterday it just didnt make sense.

I think its you who pick the bits out you want, you probably wasnt even there and wouldnt have heard the backing the team got till it got to 4 or 5, I have supported getting behind the team 100% bit surely your not advocating we clap them off when they have give up ?

What because I said the team didnt turn up yesterday ? are you disputing that, I have managed every game this season I think we have won two away so its not like I get giddy every time we play bad, I know we are small fry in a league of biggish spenders and generally I dont expect much from a day out but yesterday I felt robbed and cheated, Ive yet to read any positives from the game yesterday so if you want to make it an athleticos thing fine, the team have had all the backing they could of asked for this season if theyve had a bit of grief for yesterday so be it you have to draw the line somewhere and for me the players yesterday went past it.
