Think he must of had a word with the ref at half time as he came out and booked 2 of our lads for nothing within 5 minures of the restart, fair point 2 teams having a go could of pinched it but so could they, Wilson best player for us Marcus Maddison for them, thought Kusunga and Brown where shaky at times.

With another transfer embargo in the offing it would appear at least some parts of revenue generated must be going into Brassbanks coffers.
-
how are Orient paying 2 players 10k a week ?
-
Only thing missing is a couple of goals, If there is one critisism they could both do with being more vocal especially now that George is out, was shocked Elokobi didnt make the top 3 this month if Im honest.
-
Looks like the revenue from shirt sales may be missed then ? It doesnt stack up to me what about the transfer fees we have received in the past 12 month Baxter, Tarkey, Smith, JCH ? Coventry until recently operated on crowds of 1500 how do they get around this ?

Clarke started for Wolves against Reading on Sunday past
We have no chance then ?
-
Another striker joins Wolves on loan from Hull is Leon Clarke even making the bench ?

You wouldnt have to worry, most of our fans would be put off by the £70 entry fee
Add to that home teams in the cup have to give up around 10% off there capacity, I think 7000 would cover it at Arsenal.
-
If we are top 6 by then surely we will sell out ?
-
I go every home game and dont have a season ticket so I would say your better off by £150+ isnt that classed as a benefit ?
-
Or simply stick extra forwards on when teams like Gillingham and County want to park the bus, its not rocket science, take of a defender or even one of the two holding midfielders and we may have more to offer, although draws keep the run going are no use when its 3 points for a win, we are far too safe and although we have lost 2 games less than Rochdale we are 2 points behind them after only 9 games played, have a go at teams and we might even get a few more on the gate.

I wont be buying a shirt at all this season, we are nearly into October and there is still no sign of it which in my opinion is shocking, the fact that we are a quarter of the way into the season should see the shirt discounted but no doubt it wont be, all I can say for lost sales is we musnt need the money anymore !

But he didnt score & Carroll saved it, so Wilkinson had an ok game. A striker who didnt score, didnt do well.
I tend to give players more than a game, hope he grabs a couple on Saturday, its interesting that you havent questioned our other 'striker' Poleon, or has he been written off completely ?
-
I said Wilkinson looked ok. He could have had a few had he committed to a few crosses as opposed to waiting for them to drop on his head. Thats my point. At 19 & on his full debut he didnt score because he didnt have the desire.
May be a rough diamond but lack of desire is certainly not one of his flaws. If that chance goes in that Carroll somehow tipped round the post late on he would be being proclaimed as the new saviour.
-
Well, he wasn't...
He wasnt because Notts County parked the bus and set out not to concede, they played very similar to the way we do at home, when we go to Peterborough and Chesterfield he may have a chance of getting in behind them, heres hoping anyway.

The one pictured is an original made out of cotton as well, was sat by the bloke on the train, Id of said it was a small or at a push a medium.

Forte was poor/unfit. I thought Jones had an excellent game & his first touch is amongst the best Ive ever seen. The back 4 & Kelly could all have had it tbh, but I thought Jones was everywhere, always wanting the ball & getting it moving. Wilkinson looked ok, but he doesnt look like the goalscorer we need, hes not got enough desire to get on the end of crosses & loose balls.
Give the kid a chance he is 19 and it was his first 90 minutes and looked our most likely scorer, I happen to think there are plenty of goals in him, he will be unlucky if he doesnt start against Scunthorpe.
-
Have you wrote Poleon off then ? It could be argued that Wilkinson has done as much in his one game than Poleon has in his four starts ? I would take Wilkinson all day long over JCH seems to have far more to his game and he probably will improve further the longer he is with us.
-
Looking at the mom vote for yesterday it appears most have a similar opinion to me about Wilkinson, hopefully we can keep him till Christmas at least he will be real asset for us if we can.
-
Massive bullet dodged we would have been playing in Salford in 3 years
The opposite was more likely.
-
We must have been watching different games yesterday. Wilkinson had a very good game - he tired towards the latter stages but seemed to find a second wind and was by far the best frontman on the pitch.
Agree 100% I sometimes think I am at a different game, he was by far our most effective forward yeaterday despite only playing 20 minutes prior to yesterday he looked the one most likely to do something, its no wonder our strikers dont grow in confidence if they are knocked like they are on here.

the manager is trying to bring in a striker , we put in a bid which was accepted, the man gets an injury , other clubs now in for him .
some people on here seem to think the manager is not aware we could do with a goal scorer . he knows !
someone else wants to know what tommy wright is doing . working hard I would suggest .
we are in a good place as a club with the right management team , lets be grateful and back them .

I enjoy it its a chance for fringe players to stake their claim and could even provide an oppurtunity to visit wembley.
