Lets get 6 in before we start worrying where 16 are going to sit eh ?
-
The kit fits well then
-
If we are up there and he has scored a bag full he may want to stay think he enjoys playing and being the main man.
-
I very much doubt we are given we are around 50/1 to win the division
Correct we are around 50's to be champions, 16's for promotion and 2/1 to finish top half.

Baxter under hit a couple I remember. Philliskirks was tame against Chesterfield last season as well. My observation of Clarke Harris is when he has time to think he often snatches or fluffs a shot.

Be nice if Sondico handed out a few hundred free t-shirts for those of us going to the Colchester game as its going to near impossible to get an home shirt for the first game of the season.

I knew big Joe would come to the rescue

There will be 600 there Id say 50 on our coach anyway.

Is it not possible that he might have followed both us and Utd? As much as many of our fans despise Utd and as much as we all know at least one obnoxious moron following them who will belittle anything to do with Football outside the top 4 of the Premiership. There are those people out there who support two teams, as strange as that may appear to a lot of die-hards out there and these people exist and pay their money.
This about sums it up Pauls dad Stewart is a Salford lad and grew up a red, Paul was brought up in Midd and his friends were Oldham so that how despite being brought up in a red household he became an Oldham fan, of course he is more red than blue now he played over 700 games for the club is one of the most decorated players in the modern game and is treated like a god by United fans to this day, unlike the reception he gets when he attends Oldham games especially with his kids which I find shocking.
Paul is proud to be an Oldham fan his kids school in Chadderton and they have attended the holiday club Laticzone in recent months he is a grounded and humble family guy and has never forgotten his Latics roots. Of course manure are close to his heart but the fact he keeps Oldham there too speaks volumes for the guy, I'm proud to say ive stood on the Chaddy End with him, my only regret is he didnt turn out for us when he was once asked in an interview what club in the world he would like to play for his response ? The only team id turn out for other than Utd is Oldham Athletic the fact his greatest ever player is Andy Ritchie says it all.

IMO there's no way Philliskirk should start, he's still way off the pace and was weakly caught in possession which lead to the Huddersfield goal.
I'm also not sure if Jones is fit, which may mean a rejig in midfield.
Agree Philliskirk and Jones not ready yet, Jones gave up on tracking his runner and Philliskirk at fault for the goal leaving 2 men isolated and not doing enough to get back in, on the flip side defensively still very sound Dieng is a great player and I'd also like to say Dayton and Winchester are well worth their starting positions and cant be dropped after today Winchester looked very good today I hope he is given his chance.

Anybody got any prices for the kit yet ?
-
That's my prediction but I'm hoping LJ secures someone to share the load for JCH as Bove, Turner and Philliskirk are more long term and next season sub strikers in my opinion. That's unless Philliskirk gets an extended run if we don't sign a number 9 and he scores consistently. Would be interesting to see if Danny and JCH can form a partnership...
Agree not sure whose available but hope there is some money for an experianced number 9, someone in the Lita mould would suit but wage demands may scupper that.

Bricklayers it is then all sorted we will be arriving between 12 and 12.30.

Only away I believe and home shirt launched via official website on August 7th.
For those going to the SD store tomorrow, can you confirm via this site if the training shirts will be on sale too? I'm planning on dropping by later in the day but if the away is rubbish then I might get the training shirt instead if on sale. Cheers all!
Our current away kit is the Rio range of Sondico clothing when I looked on their website they had the two tone blue and black and grey both available in adult sizes priced around £20.

I very much doubt Leon Clarke will become our 9 this coming season. He scored again for Wolves last night, which is six in six pre-season games and very much in first team.
Would have been great but we need to look elsewhere, if we are.
We can't afford his wages, he normally starts off seasons with a bang and tails off after Christmas so we might see him as as part of a deal that takes our 20 goal leading scorer (Clarke Harris) to Wolves in January.

Is FFP as restricting as we are led to believe ? Even our own chairman said he struggled to understand it fully, Coventry seem to be managing on crowds of a thousand or two and when I went its was only about 8 pound to get in ?

Stood right behind it was nice to see a player put his laces through it from 25 yards.

Can anybody recommend an away fan friendly boozer in Colchester, have a 49 seater arriving around 12.30 and we are looking for a decent watering hole on the way into the ground.
-
No it had a bold blue band where the horners was and it was a bright flouro yellow.
-
A couple of weeks ago I saw a bloke driving a car with a bright yellow football shirt with a latics badge it had a dark blue band half way down it, cant ever remember having a kit similar to this so will be intrigued to see if its the same one we end up with.

There was a great pub in peterbourough the name escapes me but it sold more real ale than you can shake a stick at
The Hand and Heart ?

We are running a coach to Colchester as there is likely to be disruption to the train timetables on the 9th August, its 49 seat exec and we will have a designated stop off on the way leaving at 8 and hoping to pick up ashton/oldham and maybe rochdale, price is £23 only about a dozen seats left if interested post on here or message me, if you want to chat will be at all the friendlys near the flags or drum just ask for Si, cheers.
