It's going to be a close game. The question is, can we score a sodding goal without the aid of Doyle or the ref giving us a pen? Ryan Mc up top could be our hope of doing so IMO.

On reflection I thought that we played about well with it but offered nothing in the final 3rd. Dummigan got a lot of the ball on the right but there was almost zero movement ahead of him so ended up playing it back for Gerrard or Gardener to hoof or forced to play a bit and hope ball across the box which Davies or Holloway didn't read. Neopochino is dreadful as a sub and missed numerous opportunities to play the ball in. Look at Fleetwood's goals, two decent balls in two goals. We seemed to labour over the ball in everytime.  

Holloway and Davies are too similar to play alongside each other we absolutely need a Doyle type player EVERY game and rotate Holloway and Davies.

 I know we had a couple of players out for the last two games and the reported illness seems to have left some players low on energy but we played yesterday like a side that found everything difficult. Bristol is a massive game now. Things need to be sorted and quickly.

One step forward, two steps back. Buried Northampton and then this! Doyle and Bryan missing and we get tonked! I'd be on the phone to Preston and City to extend those loans now! 

I thought we played really well, just missing our shooting boots otherwise would have had 3 or 4. They offered little going forward despite being able to knock it about.

Their keeper was lucky with what looked like handball out of his area and his time wasting was by far the worst I've seen for a long while. 

Very stop start game which I think threw us a little.  Dons played to the game in the end. They went ultra defensive and it got them a point. 

It was simply lovely to hear my five year old say 'Daddy I love coming to watch Oldham. ' on the walk home. He been going now for 2 seasons and has seen some proper durge. 

I'm actually excited for him to embark on his Latics journey with him, playing the brand of football we are. Roll on Tuesday! 

Well we fucked that up for ourselves didn't we? Other results going against us today. Not a good day at the office for the boys and Shez. 

Did anyone else spot the fisticuffs between Clarke and Banks? Banks was tanting all game about everything but to push your own caption is so just stupid. Wouldn't surprise me if we didn't see banks for a few weeks. 

Christ on a bike, imagine the meltdown if we lost! It's a point, we had one of our more dangerous attackers playing at right back and Reckord was on the pitch and we didn't conceed, Rips kept another clean sheet. Win against Oxford on Tuesday and people will be saying how easily we will stay up again. Not time for panic yet.

We have too many similar forwards Erwin, Ngoo and AAH are all big lads that can hold the ball but need someone running off. Obviously Mags has been pulled back to full back through absentees, he is the ideal candidate for this role, other than that we don't have anyone else and we let Makay go.

There is still time for more as free agents can still sign. Wouldn't be surprised to see Shez work some magic yet.

Don't remember his delivery being that poor... has to be better than our current delivers?

Very pleased. Brings Ngoo and Holloway into play fully this now.

On my way home I pass the ground after cutting up past B and Q and the hospital to join Sheepfoot Lane and saw a tall lad with shaved head who was with a smartly dressed bloke walking back to his car looked a little bit like Curtis Main...
