  1. I'm not even going to pretend I know what administration involves. Surely the aim is to make the club as attractive as possible to potential buyers so keeping a relatively competitive squad together would be benifical. If we don't manage to extend contracts for the players stated in the 'Squad movements thread' surely Corney and Co have no real pawns to use and will effectively bend themselves over in the process so wouldn't it be in their interests to offer every bugger a deal so that there is something left to work with? Also doesn't going into administration mean we can't sign anybody? If so and we are left with Coleman, Kelly plus the youth/reserve squad we will be extremely vulnerable to getting tonked every week.

Yes I paid £200 pounds for my season ticket so yes I could be called out by some for reducing our budget as will others but I really resent paying that to watch an Oldham side I love get hit for 6 by F ING Fleetwood! Come on Corney. Show us something, anything that resembles a plan to get us out of this :censored:. The silence is deafening.

  2. I don't blame you either...didn't see much steward/police action as you moved towards the pegs. It was only when the second one went off they grabbed someone.

Hope the little one is okay

Thank you. The little one is ok, a little stunned but ok. The police and stewards were great with us but I agree, didn't see a great deal of action afterwards.

  3. Just goes to show how important Dieng is. Went off injured and concede two, although I have to say we were sliced open a few times in the first half too.

Good saves by Coleman before the first conceded.

Must say their winger, number 42 looked that age too...ye gods at least he managed to keep up with the pace until he was subbed.

Love the players little ones one the pitch, the young girl in white was tackling I think Gerrads young uns...bless

With regards to the smoke bombs, yes I saw a bloke carrying his little one away not very happy and when the second one went off, the stewards and police apprehended a young lad who couldn't have been more than 15 years old. He was in tears when a lady copper was onthe phone to his mum. His mates outside said it wasn't him. I just said the were stupid, it's a ban for life. They did let the kid go

That was me carrying him off. I was :censored:ing fuming.
  4. He did. If only forte had his work rate. Disgraceful performance from forte.

Good on Croft today. Sounded like he played really well. My Fleetwood mate said he defyed physics by being fat yet pacey (!) Forte is so frustrating. He's like being stuck with an Alpha Romeo. He's quick but ultimately breaks down or doesn't work for long shifts, yet when he's good, wow. And nobody will take him off your hands because in the long run it's a :censored:e investment.

  5. I took my sister to BP during the Richie season when we stayed up with wins against Stoke and Reading at the end of the season. Took her to the Gillingham game (we lost 1-4). Conversation went like this.

Me-right, we play in blue which is the team playing towards us.

Sis-right, why do the other team wear a different colour.

Me- because we need to know who to pass to.

Sis-ok. Yeeesssssss! (Sis is jumping up and down-At this point Gillingham score, all eyes in the chaddy are glaring at me and her, including all the 'cool' kids from my year at school)

    Me-Sit down you silly cow.

    Sis-why is noone cheering?

    Me- Face palm.

I'd like to add this happened on two more occasions before the end of the game. We no longer speak about football, Oldham or THAT day.

  6.

Apart from when it comes to signing strikers who can score.

Coleman can score the goals for all I care as long as we have the work rate of Holloway and Main. They might not be Aguero or Messi but they give us what we haven't had this season, the desire to chase and fight. They simply give a :censored: about what they do.
  7. Great words, let it wash off, tis a bump in the road..phew...massive, massive next 2 home games, we can drag ourselves put of this. Let's get behind this lot and be the 12th man.

On a footnote if it does go tits up...whose our human sacrifice to the footy gods?

James Wilson. Responsible for a lot of cock ups. We can't touch Corney and Dunn and Dunner (Kelly) have already fallen on their swords...
  8. Gulf in class appeared evident yesterday I'm afraid, Oldham Nil. As previous two posters said. Run was going to come to an end and Sheff U where simply the better side in this match. I trust Shez to know what he's doing more so than the previous two epic fails of 'coaches' and we focus on Blackpool now.

  9. Heavy rain all afternoon tomorrow and again from 11.00am Saturday.

Reckon yet another postponement is on the cards and a fixture pile-up beckons....not good news for our chances of staying up!!

Been dryer this week apart from down pour yesterday so pitch shouldn't be as saturated. Previous weeks it has rain consistently at some point during the day. Should be okay this week I'd think.
