  1. Retaining the Browns, who lets face it is lucky to earning a fair living out of the game is the reason we are in our position, he is for me the epitome of failure, I don't care how good he is around the dressing room he is a poor footballer who has been responsible for countless goals we have conceded in the past 12 months.

I refuse to accept he is as bad as is made out by numerous people on here

  2. Nah. Not for me. Not seen him beat any RB with speed yet and gets lucky with any moves he has. Waves his arms around a lot ! Need a proper winger.

I thought this when he first came, bit of a James Dayton couldn't beat a man. But, since he's had a run of games I don't think we have many other players can deliver a cross like he does. Obviously it's not perfect every time otherwise he'd be championship level but more than enough for us. Now if only we had an in form striker to get on the end of them. Oh, we do, he's at crawley

  3. I suspect many of us were hooked into worshiping this club after our dads took us to BP for the first time. It is part of the bonding process and it is something I still do every home game. Early memories of Maurice Whittle, Vic Halom, onto Andy Ritchie. The ups and downs, the pinch me seasons, the terrace banter. Such happy memories which all seem such a long time ago. However, this is my club, its my Church and I make the 250 mile round trip in the hope we will turn a corner but more importantly to see my Dad and continue the tradition.

It is hard at the moment but if we all walk away, we will have no club. Where will Dads take their sons then.

My grandad started taking me when I was 4. Unfortunately he passed away when I was 15 so it was me that roped my dad into coming as I couldn't drive and live in Preston. I'm sure he'll leave me out of his will as payback

  4. We all know that the team is completely at fault. What some of us do not appreciate is being told in an expletive filled rant every 30 seconds at matches.

Most people swear either for emphasis or in place of the knowledge of the correct grammar. The former is fine-the latter is just plain ignorant.

Calling Cornell a useless :censored: :censored: for getting beaten to the ball against Southend in the air is acceptable

  5. I don't agree with fans throwing abuse at the team but I respect the fans right to boo if they want too, it amuses me how people on here who call these fans knuckle draggers and neanderthals are falling into the same trap of our disgruntled fans, its okay to call your fellow tics but don't call the players? Its all a bit ironic for me.

Booed for the first time in 25 years the other week. I never have shouted abuse at the players all though I may have a moan to my dad who sits next to me until Cornell got beaten in the air and something along the lines of " how are you not catching that you :censored: :censored:" came out. Most of it is pure frustration and when we're seeing what we are I can understand why those who go every game home and away are as angry as they are. I'm lucky I only go home with the odd away managed

  6. Exactly, I yearn for a tryer, to have a go, get me off my seat, get me to go oooooooo....when at least we are near the onion bag. This lot are like rabbits in the headlights...are they so messed up that no one wants to have a go....can't understand it

I wouldn't be particularly arsed if one of them shot from 40 yards and it cleared the stand as long as there was some attacking intent
