Is what we need to sing today.
Get behind the boys in Dunn's last game. Let's :censored: these cockney :censored:s.
No. Get behind the players, not Dunn
-
The club could lose hundreds of fans if they demolish the main stand. Many like myself won't renew season tickets or pay on the gate if we are offered the Rochdale Road end or rain affected seats in the North Stand, especially if it takes as long as the North Stand to build. Maybe a rebuild in stages rather than a demolish would be better.
I've sat in main stand for 26 years. Hate sitting behind the goal so would have to be north stand for me. Although would have been near the back lol

Your never going to win with certain posters on here and we all know who they are - they've got an agenda, they hate Dunn and want him out. Their desparate attempt to find negatives in anything he says is ample evidence of that. I truly believe they'll be genuinely gutted if we stay up. They put their petty little prejudices above the team just so they can bask in some supposed glory of being able to say 'I told you so'
They're an irrelevance really.
Nobody would be happy if we go down. Just because a LOT of people, the majority in fact, think dunn is :censored:ing useless doesn't mean they don't want him to turn it round. They just don't believe he has the capability.

Oscar Pistorious's attempts to negotiate his girlfriend out of the bathroom #ThingsDunnWouldClassAsAGoodPerformance

He's not said what you're implying. In fact in the linked article you've quoted he said this: "Its no wonder why fans come on a Saturday and look miserable as Id be miserable too."
There's enough factual stuff to be critical of - team selections, tactics etc. But this constant misrepresenting of what he says is getting tedious. Even the MEN are doing it with their "Dunn reckons even Mourinho and Ferguson couldn't sort Latics out" misleading bull:censored:.
In his latics player interview he says he's been happy with performances
-
They've lost 4 out of their last 5 in the league; I'm not sure it'll be quite the walkover some are expecting...
Barnsley had lost 8 on the bounce, Colchester 9
-
Poleon has got 5 goals with less than half the starts that Philliskirk had.
Food for thought.
Few things you've put on this post I agree with and not happy about that.
Poleon also gets played on the wing. Better ratio. Not that bothered about Philliskirk

Err Err we're :censored:ed
I'm not worried are you.....
I might take a bit longer than big joe on second thoughts...

Good. I hope so. Their manager says they're still talking to us though.
If he bags a few more it won't just be Crawley interested. I think 100k offer for him would test our resolve. If he got sold I'd be Dunn myself
-
Dummigan and Lafferty back on loan. Unfortunately just a month each. What's rules regarding having these till the end of the season?
-
Statistical fact: we tend to get more points out of games in which somebody scored a goal.
Cheers Michael Owen

With the imminent return of Forte where will Yeats fit in if Forte plays in his favoured position?.
They other wing. Can play him on the right easily. Better winger than Philly
-
I've started one now, seem if it runs. Cornel related.
Gave it a retweet. See if it gathers legs. was hoping for something more wildly unbelievable though ha

I'd there an option for the money to be used towards Dunn's payoff? I'd donate to that.
On a more serious note, there would have to be a bloody decent reason for me to donate. I put 350 in to the club and all I got was a poxy season ticket lol
-
I am comfortably able to believe he said next week alluding to 8 days hence rather than say 195 hours 30 mins and 20 seconds...!
Just understood what u meant before. Thought u wanted know exact date it was published. I think I'm with you. Might not be. Been a long day
-
Yes, but that could mean the interview was conducted between 28th and 31st Jan, before he knew if he would be playing (and scoring) for us again.
Sure it says 27th. May be wrong
-
Hearing other clubs are now interested in signing Dummigan, be a shame if we missed out on him, one of the positives of the past few months.
Been really impressed with him. One positive from dunn

They ran out of meat and potato in the RRE for the donny game
They haven't grasped the bigger attendance more pies needed yet then

If you want to watch a team who can buy players to replace under performing players at will, who can line up their next manager while the current manager is winning the title, who can extend their grounds by 15000 while we are saving up for Tarmac....there are a couple of alternatives within walking distance
Supporting Latics isn't about trophies, about dry luxury seating , about wanting to be associated with prawn sandwiches, about not having a heard of stevenage or Dagenham.....
Last summer I went on a tour of Arsenal's Emirates stadium. The guide asked where we came from, Barcelona , Madrid, Munich etc came out of answers. Near Manchester said I . I was then asked whether I was United or City. When I replied Oldham Athletic his face lit up, he remembered the 3-0 etc., he could not stop talking about Latics. It is that respect which makes it worthwhile
Supporting Latics is about supporting proper football, it is about running out of pies, it is about being able to talk to the chairman if you want, it is about being able to laugh at your team
Do I want to sit in a 75000 crowd of tourists with cameras taking pictures of a corner kick or do I want to sit in the cold and fear that the impending corner is about to be thrown into our own net.
For me the latter, sport is about trying to win...most of the time though it is about coping with losing.....we Latics fans are world beaters at that!
I agree. Haven't run out of pies for a while though. This makes me happy

I've had upheavals and plenty of bosses, it didn't affect how I did my job serving the public, you just have to get on with it.
So you were frequently paid late and your boss slagged you off in public?
-
People saying regardless that these players should be busting a gut 100% regardless as they're playing for the shirt? Do me a favour.
If my 4th boss in 12 months, another with no experience of management, was slagging me and my colleagues off at every opportunity, we were being paid late and he was saying he was looking at binning us off to bring new staff in, motivated and passionate would be the last thing I was.
-
He should have gone off - he was getting in the way of their attacking movement and not adding anything.
Did it stop them getting a point?
-
Interesting that people continue to have so much faith in this group of players, as if it is going to suddenly click into gear.
Get out of Dunn's arse
-
That would make no sense.
I agree. All 3 need to go
Is survival in League One so important?

I think people are forgetting that the players we have now who I would say are good enough for mid table would leave and we would have mid table league 2 players coming in. Not gonna keep our best players in league 2. So we wouldn't be setting the division alight. Relegation will seriously :censored: us over.
