I've joined the realistic Oldham Athletic fans group on Facebook, I can inform you all they are NOT realistic, deluded very much so. They should change their name.

Just watched Banide after match interview and it was so awkward! It’s three league games in and he looks a broken man with no idea how to make things better. He kept looking around as he spoke, he looked jittery, kept talking about reaction.

The problem is, even if he were to be sacked or walk, I don’t think it will make much difference as ultimately as long as AL and ML are in charge, interfering with football matters, being responsible for this mad recruitment of players the fundamental problems and Crux of the matter will remain the same.

To keep having Sefil and Vera anywhere near a professional football club first team is basically football suicide

Only listening, but a lot of talk on ifollow of us playing them off the park, being better team etc but I don’t think I’ve heard us create a single chance. With the only bit of excitement a maouche shot from range.

How long have teams known they can do this to us? Let us piss around with the ball but offering no threat then they grab it back and cut us open. Such a familiar story.

according to aunty beebs match stats we have  had  4 shots to there 4 ,7 corners to there none, even on fouls and 57% of possession ? make of that what you will

For this to happen would there not have to be some form of collateral or security against any loans? As the bloke only owns the team I cannot see that being acceptable, so what financial institution would lend the money?

If not then he either has money or access to money?

No agenda here, just interested in what folks think.

didnt he have to leave some kind of bond with the EFL before passing the fit and proper persons test would that not kick in ?

I strongly doubt that they would be worse.

But they still shouldn't be blindly backed.  The standards we set for owners should not simply be "better than Lemsagam and Corney".

dont think anybody is blindly backing them they are just the only alternative at the moment so we have to give them a chance dont we ?

Lol I get your point kow - but nowadays a lot of business people don't get the choice where to stay - their firms often contract out travel/accomm booking to an agency (who are told to keep cost down) - get on that agencies preferred list (i.e. via competitive rate) and bingo, chips, peas and gravy it is 😀

exactly this last two firms  i drove for one the boss did the hotel bookings so premier it was with all the other transient workers (plumbers sparkys chippys etc ) based there for the week . tuther firm drivers given a company card and we would book it ourselves usualy  Best Western  occasional a radison  so in with the managers and tourists . plenty of travel lodge premier in types localy  but other than the large village hotel at A-U-L  can think of many upper grade chains localy  a gap in the market to be exploited .

Another important rule in business is to explain your motivation.  The FLG is buying the stadium and car park to protect the future of our club and one person it has to be protected against is Marco.  Marco could have entered into negotiations to buy the stadium and land but for whatever reason declined.

If Marco and Mo stay much longer we won't need a stadium and Boundary Park would be be sold for housing by Blitz.  Securing the stadium secures our future even if Marco and Mo do what I expect which is to take us out of the football league.

I would like to own a share in the future of my football team and that is what the FLG are working towards.

this is spot on its not about taking side its about having a side out on the pitch
