richard has just informed me that it has now been cut down and is now being hemmed & stiched chould be ready for the weekend says he will collect it sunday to hopefully debut at bradford .

as stated on jk flag was delivered to consett this dinner not bad staly vegas to consett in 2 1/2 hours via woodhead (there was a bloody great funeral goin into staly richard dint wana get stuck behind that ) staff were very supprised at the shear size of it (and the flag ) have said they will do there best to get it all sorted for next sat so hopefully will make its debut at bradford apparently they gonna have to hire the local sports hall to lay it out for the trimming lol

I'm not a fan of naming stands after people... too much money can be made from selling the branding on them - which to a club like ours is vital - but having the 'Ritchie' box and the 'Royal' box... which could have a signed picture of the player in question on the wall etc. would be a great way of making them both more attractive for people to use and also for the club to 'honour' legends!

the £3 idea was only to float the idea i to think £10 is probly about right maybe charge £20 any company that wants to put there name on one all exept t&@~x who can pay £10.00000 for one .

when the TTA offered the trust space/facilitys in the new broadway stand did anyone think of offering fans the oppertunity off buying abrick for say £3 a time with the persons name on it . i know saddleworth museam did this some years ago for there extention very successfully .just think you could own a little piece of BP for ever and raise funds for the club/trust worth a look ?????????????

had the misfortune to be at saddleworth at the end of the seventies which meant i had to the odius phill larder (yes that one ) for my pe teacher god do i hate thugby .Bieng one of the smallest in my year meant i was used as a punch bag by all the numbnuts in our sport group so hated it eventualy he worked it out & gave those of us who hated thugby the choice to do cross country needless to say i VERY good at it which realy did pish himoff .
