I have great faith in this lad Green but have not seen much about how he played his 15 mins the other night. Would like to hear from you lads at the game the other night about how he looked. I also said before the season started that I liked the look of Dieng and I was asked if I was licking a window when I wrote this but the few reports I have seen say he did well.

I predict that the 3 subs that will be used tonight will be Winchester, Poleon Dunn.

He is fit enough to come off the bench, if not start the game as he played 60 mins most pre-season. but without seeing him play we don't know how good he could be at this level. Middlesbrough game what harm would it of done to bring him on and not Dunn, the game was lost and Dunn is not going to learn anything out of it, but Green could have.

Forte just has not looked up for it to me the last few games, maybe he thinks he might be or should have been moving on but don't look arsed to me half the time. Murphy and Tuner would get the nod ahead of him for me.

Green won't start he will get 10 mins at most for 6 games, DK is :censored: scared of putting youngsters in, Ferguson did it and look what happened.Just my opinion but this division is full of older players who are coming to the end, so put some youth out with legs and the will to fight for everything.Before I get slated I know the team is quite young but they have been playing first team and they get complacent shake them up and see what happens.

Because we don’t have a regular first team left back other than Mills we should send him out to play no matter what ? Not for me, Truelove is worth a look, as stated Brown could do a job. How can Green get match fit sat on the bench, or been taken off every game he started in the pre-season after 60 mins. Surely you have to try and play your best team every week not just the same old faces because you don’t have the balls to be bold and put some of the baggage on the bench.

Is this official because I heard from someone at Everton who was with him in the under 18’s he was very highly rated and he could of stayed, his contract was up but could of taken a 1 year extension to play in the under 21’s but chose to leave as he was unhappy at Everton and didn’t see a chance of playing in the first team or a role as a number 10, and wanted a chance to play first team football. He was also offered a place at Bolton but was told he would get first team football here and the chance of playing in the hole. I was also told he was outstanding and stood head and shoulders over any of the other lads so make of it what you will but after watching him in pre season, he looks to have some talent but maybe not match fit. Winchester looked good in pre-season but the two games I have seen him play so far this season he has looked poor, so why not give Green a chance and I would like to see Dunn in the same team sitting in the middle behind Green as I think the knowledge of Dunn and the skill of Green would demolish teams in this league. I have read on here a load of people knocking Croft which I can’t get my head round, he runs and runs that lad and gets the ball back on loads of occasions, yes he might not be the most gifted of players but you need a few scrappers in the team. I don’t see how Cassidy deserves a place in the team ahead of Tuner as he didn’t do pre-season and Tuner did very well. Mills should drop to the bench for me, but we have 4 point on the board so maybe we are been a bit rash lets see what happens and just support DK and all the lads for now and if we start to lose points then shout for change’s to be made.

I would love to see Dunn and Green play together, Dunn with all his expertise and Green with his skill and urge to run at the defence I could see great things from them two. Cassidy was out for pre season but then starts the season as first pick on the team sheet, Turner did well pre-season, he should be given a chance and let Cassidy go on the bench. Croft Cassidy poleon will run for you, which is great and they do a good job for the team, but it needs some skill in there GREEN AND DUNN

DK what are you doing ? Green is on the bench with more ability than most division 1 players. play him give him a game.

Green was out on the wing for Bolton and Blackburn, not where he plays. Green was on the wing for Bolton and Blackburn, and he did not have his best game. Stirling he played in the hole, Halifax played in the hole both games ran midfield enough said.

Everyone to his own, I did say rotate so your first choice may be in my starting line up, mine may not be in yours. DK needs to put what he thinks his is best team out on Saturday and only make subs as and when he thinks it could change the game, or forced on him. Pre season needs to be about finding your best team and get them used to playing with each other, it's not just all about fitness. He has just kept swapping all the time playing nearly two sides per game how can he or we judge from that to be honest, I dont think we can or him.

To me the few names that be go straight on to the team sheet are Dieng, Wilson Croft, Green and Turner. Turner has to start for me, with what he has showed, Dieng ls fast and puts a shift in, Croft will run all day and fight for every ball and if Green is played right he has enough in his locker to cause any defence problems, but putting him on the wing is a waste of time, his touch skill and vision is way ahead of any other player at the club. The rest for me could be rotated.

I would say formation first half was 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 hard to say at times. In reply to Gunnar Halle, I think Green should be more selfish at times run at defence's but been on the left wing will not get the best out of him he needs to be in the hole or even have a bit of a free role in the final third. A left footed player to me is better cutting from the right not the left.

Real game of two halves, first was very good to watch all played well and backed each other up well, Croft was very good chasing the ball down. Second half was really bad to watch no link up from the back to the front always trying to play the wrong ball when an easier pass was clearly on, Green got no service on the wing at all needs to be in the middle. Think the starting line up looks like the team that will start the season off.

Edmundson looks a good talent thought Green looked a lot better in the middle than out on the wing, however his ping early on from the right wing to Polean over on the left was pin point. The formation got switched around a bit in the second half, which seemed to make a difference for the better. the team as a whole though seem a bit confused Green tried to play a few quick one twos but the others were not on the same wave length. the long ball game seemed to get the best results later on. Would like to see DK pick what he thinks will be his starting 11 on Saturday and sub as though it was a league game he must know by now who he see's as his first 11.
