  1. My question to everyone on here is:

If you won the Lotto or Euro Millions, would you be willing to put your money into the Club, knowing that, effectively, you would be treated with contempt by the very people who claim to be your supporters but never put any of their money into your Club?

Yes, absolutely undoubtledly and I wouldn't be doing it to gain acceptance, gratitude or thanks from anyone.

The first thing I'd do is buy back BP, sell the land at Failsworth and start rebuilding where we are now - starting with a new Lookers Stand.

  2. A full 300 left + no roof = crap atmosphere!

PS I know what you mean lancy lad. That Camp Nou in Barcelona often has more than 300 spare seats, has no roof and cannot generate an atmosphere - its just pants

  3. been going on for a couple of months at least Mike, they must have delusions of grandeur and think they should be like the Times

Its been subscription for the full version for years now, but they seem to be giving it another push by not allowing you to read the top stories on the free website anymore.

  4. PlayerShare was set up to help PD and his team bring in a player.

A player has been identified and this is where the fans can help.

    Rodrigue Dikaba

    0,,10337~8987218,00.jpg

Simon Corney as asked Trust Oldham to help bring Rodrigue to the Club on a full contract after Paul Dickov as made it VERY CLEAR that he wants him in his team.

SC is willing to pay a large percentage (Higher than the percantage asked for from The Trust) of his own money towards the contract and is asking Trust Oldham and the Playershare scheme to pay £500 a week.

This equates to £26,000 a year at at the moment we only have £7,000 with just over 50 people paying into the Fund.

If you are willing to TRUST Paul Dickov and his judgement on this player, this is the perfect time to prove it. £1 a week (or more if you are able) into the scheme or a one off donation will help.

If you would like to donate some money to the fund and recieve ADVERTISMENT in lieu for your company, this can be organised !!!

The club with its current squad CANT afford this player, but with the help of fans and PlayerShare it may just be able too.

This player is wanted by the manager, the funds made on Eaves is not available, that money is being used to support the club were Simon Blitz once did.

If anyone has any questions or wants to support this signing please let me know.

N.B. The club are actively looking for teams for players on the Transfer list, Rodrigue Dikaba is currently training at the club but if not signed tomorrow has been invited to train with 2 different Championship club. Dickov doesnt want to let him go !!!

    Link

If Paul Dickov wants this player, and wants the fans to help to get him in, where is the communication from the Manager? Its not like he is shy of communicating to the fans is it? All I have seen is that Simon Corney invests loads into this club :bored: and the Trust thinks we should all cough up.

Perhaps some of the money invested into funding a move from BP to Failsworth would have been better spent on bringing in the right players? Get the product right, and attract people to come and pay through the turnstiles, utilise this money to redevelop Boundary Park like we were promised.

  5. English League One soccer team Oldham Athletic A.F.C has confirmed the signing of a new sponsorship deal with the footwear brand K-Swiss.

Under terms of the new associate sponsorship, announced by Oldham to be a five-figure sum, the California-based company's logo will feature on the club's shirts and shorts, as well as enjoying brand visibility around Oldham's home ground, the 10,000 capacity Boundary Park.

Oldham Athletic sales and marketing manager, Guy Walker, said, "We are delighted to have secured a sponsorship agreement with K-Swiss, an iconic footwear brand. We are especially pleased to have the opportunity of being a part of the launch of 'Tubes', the company's new range of fitness shoes."

Oldham Athletic’s new stadium gets go-ahead

K-Swiss UK marketing manager, Nick Grocott, said, "We are proud to announce our sponsorship of Oldham Athletic with the launch of the revolutionary new fitness shoe 'Tubes'. We hope this is the start of a long and successful partnership between the football club and our company."

Oldham Athletic finished the 2009/10 League One season 16th.

  6. most likely he will score and do his silly dance

Yet again, the club puts Away fans and cash in the bank before looking after their own fans. No wonder Season Ticket sales are down, and this justifies my decision not to renew.

I now feel that I can go to the game, as I am less offended than I have been in the past when the club gave my seat to away fans.

What a shame the fans dont get a say in the boardroom

  7. I've turned oneof his many illegitimate sons away from the screen so that he doesn't see the news over my shoulder

Thanks for your time, effort, energy and dedication given to the many young Latics fans Wayne. I think you did a sterling job, and I am not sure that I'd be prepared to give up so much of my own time as you did to give much joy to many other people's kids.

Kevin was a bit better though

  8. I have to work to earn money during the week, too many games swithced to school nights meaning that I can't make it to the ground (as well as other things the club has done to piss me off) has meant that I have not renewed my Season Ticket this year.

This is just another example of how valued we are to the club.

    Sad, sad, sad.

    :disappointed:

    And also angry
