We've never had either or haven't you noticed?

A load of old crocks, has beens if you want to elaborate, with nowt left in the tank, stuck in their ways like our manager.

B.P has become the new Jurassic world, time to hatch a new breed.

Completely irrelevant to what I said, but feel free to continue

Now, if we'd done the right thing in the first place 😏

It wouldn't of needed doing and same applies to the recruitment of the correct

(Younger) players that might of given us far more energy and drive, in order to have any chance of getting out of this league.

    Won't happen ofcourse

We don't need younger players. We need the right players

From the fans forum - Tuesday May 21:

Q: Is there a season ticket update?

LR: I think we've just tipped over 3,000 today which is better than we were expecting. It's the same as where we were this time last year, 10 per cent down in numbers but in terms of revenue it's the same. Season tickets are a massive element to player budget so thank you for

A point I made regarding season tickets and the budget which @League one forever said was horse shit...

I mean possibly, but as I say it doesn't seem to have worked for us so far.

Maybe you're looking at it in the wrong way. Maybe think that if we hadn't used StatsBomb our signings would have been much worse...

Show me a database where it could highlight 3 players Iike I recommended from Sunday League teams who went on to have excellent careers in the EFL Championship.

What a ridiculous response to the well reasoned comments above

I'll ask a civil question just because I'm interested.  Where have you seen him play?  Last time the answer I got was along the lines of 'I've seen him play, is that enough for you' which seemed a bit punchy but there you go.

You won't get a civil answer if you even seem slightly like you're criticising him. See below

I've seen him you haven't, so you can't possibly say you are confident he isn't better than what we have. He's a very well built, quick, powerful right back, excellent going forward and can defend. If others in the team can't  defend why blame him alone?

You also cannot judge a player because he's in a relegation team.

I remember a player from a club who dropped into non league and later played in the top flight.

The NL has part time teams and you are calling it far superior?

As I've said before I recommend individuals whatever level or league position they are in.

If they have the ability and desire combined that's what I look for.

I will never recommend a player from even an higher level if he has no heart.

He may or may not reach his potential, but IMO he's better than what we have which is always the criteria.

I believe he oversees the running of the football club and all its component parts. Forgive me if that’s wrong.

as I say, I am not making any judgement on him as CEO.

You said he should be judged on whether he is a good CEO, so what does that look like?

You also said concerning spent so much on shit players. Who is responsible for that?

  7. 36 minutes ago, AndyB2 said:

Absolutely. And am not saying he isn’t a good ceo. But there is little room for sentiment and he should be judged on his performance as ceo in considering whether he is a good ceo not what he did to save the club. Important not to conflate the two issues.

the fact that we have blown so much money on shit players concerns me in this regard.

You've still, not once, told us what the CEO does and is responsible for

How different with the youth team where every player gives 100%, even though some know they might not be offered contracts. The coaches style football is a joy to watch. This is the spirit we need in the first team.

They're all playing for a contract. Most of first team aren't

I don't think it'll be dramatically less. The amount of fans to declare staunchly on social media that they won't be getting one only for doing a massive u-turn and get one ("I'm going to give them one last chance") has been ludicrous.

    Attention seekers?

People also need something to be enthused about….the comments from MM have hardly helped the cause and have probably dampened the prospects of a promotion campaign for many.

I’ve already bought mine but there will be a fair few who are still undecided.

A few positive comments from our CEO wouldn’t have gone amiss whilst we are trying to sell season tickets don’t you think?

Who cares what the CEO said. All people who run clubs that make predictions about where they want to be next season or in 5 years time are normally wrong

I dunno if my memory's fading but i have absolute no recollection of Cameron Burgess.

Liam Kelly also played for Coventry in the game.

Scored a worldy against Bradford I think
