    i've only seen him against Hereford and Leicester but, strangely, for me he seems to be better going forward from left back than he does from left wing (???) he's undoubtedly a more gifted layer than Lomax but the best players don't necessarily make the best team. as unsteady as he can look, we don't seem to lose many with Lomax there. so his best position for me is on the bench. he'd certainly make an impact if needed. but there may be an agreement with Wolves that he starts every game.

    maybe on the ground but only countless hundreds of thousands on players? they pay the wages but haven't paid big transfer frees too often.

    i neither like or dislike them but, in principle, I'm glad to see a small club like them reaping the benefits of a decent, but not outrageous, injection of cash and then being very well run on the back of it. hull too. prime examples of what we need to do once these world finance problems blow over.

    as much as i like lomax that was exactly what he was doing for most of the game on saturday.

    i'll be very surprised if Eardley isn't back in.

    Wellens is the better player but I'd rather have Whittaker. his attitude (or lack of?) and consitency outweighs Wellens' extra ability IMO. the best players don't necessarily make the best team. two workhorses with slightly above average talent who put it in week in, week out are proving way more effective than when we've had extremely talented showponies like Wellens and Kilkenny + A N Other there.

    all that jumping up and down & hugging people when we score annoys me too. you can just as easily stick your arms in the air and shake the hand of the person next to you without any need whatsoever to leave your seat.

    is it just me or hadn't they already sold out about a week ago, then the other day they'd sold 2700 now it's 2500???? are they taking them back quicker than they're reselling them or something? is it the Ormerod factor?
