He won't be here next season there are major issues with him in the dressing room and Corney was on the point of paying him to go back to Leeds in January
Think he means Shez not Erwin fella.

Dunn joint caretaker manager at Blackburn
Even shorter than his reign here, they've just appointed Tony Mowbray.

What's this plaice coming to?
-
Is that right...?
No. He spent 1411 minutes on the pitch and scored 5 goals therefore scoring once every 282 minutes or slightly less than 1 every 3 games. Still makes him Jimmy Greaves in comparison with the others.

Well that's a reversal of Saturday

Gerrard has tweeted an apology claiming he saw red (literally) after being head butted.

Some people are going cuckoo over this thread

A gold star for the first to tell us how the assault left Elvis feeling

Christ, Kevin Van Veen at Scunthorpe subject of a £4m bid from a Chinese club, but they're holding out for £8m (EIGHT MILLION).
He's scored 10 in 31 this season.
Lucky, lucky bastards
They need to get him out before Clarke arrives.

They were very clear reduced prices were for 4 games only. Given tomorrow is game 5 since the announcement I assume they took the admittedly wild assumption that people might realise that prices would go up again.

If you and your mates had a 5% stake in one of the boozers, you might expect answers about slot machines, which you've been told you'll get nothing from, are taking up all the space of the pub you had a percentage of.
I haven't though and neither I suspect do most on here. Other than that good point.

How much is it in main stand paddock then ? On the day ?

The demand for constant and ongoing communication on every conceivable topic by some people on this Board is frankly absurd. The club is a business and one rooted in its community for whom communication should be utilised for effective marketing and occasional good news stories to push the feel good factor. Any serious issues should be communicated when the business in question has had time to analyse and respond to the relevant issue.
I'm a customer of numerous other local businesses also rooted in their community (pubs mainly). I expect them to tell me when something good is happening or they have a promotion taking place. I do not expect to be kept appraised of the full range of financial transactions taking place or if they've had a mysterious visitor from the orient who may be either trying to buy the place or sell them something.
It's frankly ridiculous, move on.

isn't that referring to the lad from Brighton?
Well it's certainly not referring to Taylor who is neither young nor a championship player.

From 12000 miles away and have just watched the highlights. For me not enough praise has been given to Gerrard for our second goal. Instead of just hoofing it forward he looks up towards Holloway and then plays a perfectly weighted ball over the top of the defence. It gives us a 3 on 2 which to be fair Holloway uses brilliantly.
You're not wrong there Stewrat, it was Futcheresque.

Just one minor point of complaint re last night. I bought a match ticket online about 72 hours before they made it free entrance. I have not sought a refund as I thought the club probably need the money more than I do (it's marginal mind!).
I took along said eticket with the assumption that I would be able to sit in the seat I had paid 15 quid for. I couldn't as the club had given out a free ticket for the same seat.
Not a massive issue as there was one free a couple of seats away but slightly disappointing. Mind you I'll take administrative disappointment every week if it coincides with 3 points.

Permanent deal too not loan.

Edit: 35 appearences and 1947/48.
Guess looking at the age he died (2002) it might have been when the name was selected.
He was 2002 when he died? Wonder if he was around at the crucifixion.

It was. His role was to deliver Sheridan's handwritten team instructions to pitch side...
Can't even afford a couple of pay as you go phones.

For the team's sake, I`m glad about this. I think it also serves to illustrate that the Chairman et al do care about the club doesn't it?
If they didn't, they would just have left Robbo in position, saved a few bob in the process, and let us slide into the basement division (or not) as the case may have been. As it is, they have taken action to try and immediately improve our position. As someone else has said, I think, it also "puts to bed" some of the theories around why Shez left in the first place.
He is, in my opinion, certainly the right man for the moment - and hopefully for building in the medium to long term (if we dare use those phrases!).
Anyone know what odds you can get on us staying up? I`m not the betting type but wouldn't mind a little wager on this now.
Amazingly we're a best priced 8/11 to get relegated so you wouldn't get much better than even money on us staying up.

Think we should leave the covers off and postpone to a later date.
I think the cash flow position would advise otherwise.

Are you accusing them of fowl play due to the poultry budget?
It's like Turkeys voting for Christmas this.
