There’s only one thing I believe will happen under AL and it won’t be success!

Reckon we might see some fringe players in for this game, especially with Monday's game in mind - Average Andy, Benteke etc...
Benteke maybe, no chance Taylor will play

Disappointing performance after a good previous week, not really sure we deserved a point so perhaps a point gained in the circumstances though I think realistically it’s killed our chances of snatching a play off spot.
Dont know why but just didn’t seem any intensity from the team yesterday despite getting an early goal and we sat off Swindon allowing them to have so much possession it was clear they would eventually score, although it appeared a soft penalty to me.
Mouche then gives the ball away easily when he should have just cleared it in that area of the pitch and we are 2-1 down. Strange end to the game as we scored an equaliser out of nothing but then in fairness the game could have gone either way as we showed a small spark at the death with Lang having a couple of good chances but we still needed a great save from Iversen at the death or we could have lost it. Like I say perhaps a point gained overall.
Wasnt impressed with Wellens on the touchline, especially with him telling his player off for giving us the ball back after it was kicked out for Branger to get treatment and then abusing Mouche as he came off, not sure who he thinks he is as he’s hardly achieved a great deal as a manager to appear so so arrogant!
Sad to hear Scholes comments on BT last night, sounds like a right mess behind the scenes. Shows what a good job Wild is doing in the circumstances and I think he should be announced now as manager for next season so he can start planning for the new campaign now it looks like this one is pretty much over.

He's on the board and his son is chairman
Ah right I didn’t know his son was Chairman, in that case not likely to come back to BP in any capacity, shame, his experience and contacts in the game could have been good alongside PW’s enthusiasm.

I wasn’t there Saturday so I can’t comment on his performance on the day but I’ve seen an improvement in Iversen as the season has progressed. Be good to sign him permanently but I can’t see Leicester allowing that.

Does he hold some sort of position at Wigan now did I read somewhere?
If PW gets the gig full time, wouldn’t it be great to get Joe Royle back as a mentor or adviser to PW

I think it ten games in charge ? six wins three losses one draw or around about that - not bad
Thats not bad to be fair, I guess what happens in the remaining games may dictate whether he gets it next season. Just because he’s not a big name, or experienced manager, I don’t think that should go against him, all managers have to start somewhere. Big names don’t always make good managers.

Anyone know what the stats are of games Pete Wild has been in charge of altogether including cup games in his spell before and including these two games?

Not the prettiest game in the world but I guess half expected if you look at where both teams are in the league, with not masses to play for, and on a bobbly pitch.
Good result, clean sheet, two goals, three points. Players that impressed me today Iversen for sure with a few very good saves, could have been different result if he hadn’t. Clarke organised and won his headers at the back. Iacovitti for his first showing seemed quite solid, perhaps he will be tested more on Tuesday. Lang took his goal well and had hand in first. COG showed some good glimpses but still expect a bit more from him. Branger, still not sure about him, hit and miss in my opinion. Nepo had a quiet game today for me.
Onto Tuesday and a very difficult game in store, the real form team in the division.

For me concrete would be visibility of a player's bank account, or something from the club's payroll system. So, no, not concrete. But good enough to make me very concerned. Again.
So what is the trouble / bad news exactly?
Are you saying that playing or non playing staff haven’t been paid today? Is today pay day at Boundary Park?

And it's 9 too many
LOL I must admit, with nothing to play for, it’s hard to get up for the final run of games

It took him six weeks to appointment someone last time, I can’t see him having anyone in by Monday.
It will be Wild till the end of the season, there’s only 9 games left

Very sad state of affairs the club is in and brought on by two men, AL and ML
Two men who want to basically be managers but don’t want to stand on the touchline, just want to play championship manager with the club.
Got my son to speak to his friend who is a former employee of the club, who is still in contact with a few of the staff there to try and get some ideas of what’s been going on so I’m hoping to find out what I can soon.

So? We brought other players in. Not just those 2. Dearnley and Afolayan came in...
Dearnley and Afolayan came in right at the end of the transfer window just as Scholes came in funnily enough, one of which a Utd connection.......the other two came in earlier than that and I think it’s fairly obvious who brought those in........

Why pick those two as the ones who replaced Lyden and Surridge? Because they're not the only players who came in are they. They weren't direct replacements so don't pretend they were
My mistake, I thought Vera was a striker and Sylla a midfielder

The way I see it we've spent another season with another load of crock of shite forwards who we've wasted an absolute fortune on when we should of brought in one decent one and backed him up with a couple of Prem/Championship loanees, every team at the right end of this division has one quality goalscorer, our season ended when Surridge went back and he wasn't replaced, it really is weird given we were still right in the mix till January in both the League and FA Cup and in my opinion Abdallah has gotten of very lightly for the shit show of a season which in my opinion he has fucked up for the second season running.
I agree, with Surridge back fit he was starting to show signs of his early season form. Then the manager goes, Surridge goes along with Lyden who was also starting to show what he could do and they are replaced by Urko Vera and Mo Sylla, both downgrades. Vera has barely been seen and when he has, he has been woeful and nowhere near up to league two football

I’m going for a 2-1 victory with Baxter and Lang netting in front of 4432
-
Out of interest, how much would a scout or team of scouts cost and would there even be any finance available to fund this if we struggle already to pay the players and bills ?
-
Well hands up I definitely underestimated the crowd, highest gate of the season for Bury!
Good first half, Baxter brilliant! Second half I don’t know why we sat back so much inviting them on, it was inevitable they would score and go on and win it.
Positive performances from Iversen, Clarke, Baxter, Dearnley, Lang, Missilou but not many more in my opinion and you need more than 6 playing well to win a game against a top end of table team away from home

Bury had around 3,500 last home game so with us taking 2,700 I make that 6,000+.
Ive based it on their highest crowd of the season so far was 5169 against the league leaders, plus the fact they have Checkatrade Semi Final on Tuesday to get to Wembley so perhaps some people won’t be able to afford both that was all
-
I’m going for a 2-2 draw in front of 5236 fans with Dearnley and Lang scoring

Ah right, so because my name is Paul and I haven’t said we should have been smashed last night, that makes me Paul Scholes, okay I see your logic now

I think you’ll find it was a full blown argument between AL and FB after the Exeter game in the offices rather than AL having a blast at the players in the dressing room
