Get them earning their money then and keep them fit, as was said earlier we need to get that B team up and running again and get some games in to them.
Ultimately the club can't do much about it which is probably more a reflection on them than their employer. Half of them will be stacking shelves in Aldi in 18 months so I suppose they'll milk it for what they can and pretend to be footballers whilst it lasts.
Can't see Nuttall lasting two minutes at Aldi, their staff have to work hard for their money.

The thing that really annoys me is the time taken over throw ins, goal kicks and corners.
Hudson was warned a couple of times on Saturday yet still moved the ball whilst taking a goal kick prompting the inevitable pointless booking and six minutes added on.
The lackadaisical body language of our players who saunter around the pitch when the ball is out of play must influence the refs when deciding the amount of time added on, and as such is counter productive.
It also subdues the crowd to some extent when they see players strolling about showing a lack of urgency.
Just look as if you're on the front foot and we may not be playing after five on a Saturday afternoon.
Isn't all that just part of "seeing the game out" though and what all good teams do ?

Yep…MM in from the start and even with this squad we’d have been top 3 no doubt!
Or even top if he'd signed up one of the far better squads off Clayton that you know about.

Really pleased I decided not to go to the game today and I feel sorry for those of you who did and are suffering. What a load of wankers we have on our team. Hope you all enjoy your christmas dinner, i'm sure it will be better than todays match.

I listened to a podcast recently with a Newcastle fan and he said the mood in the city has significantly improved.
Has the price of Newcastle Brown gone down ?

I was impressed with the way Hope took his goal. I expect his detractors will point out his earlier chance when his first touch let him down but he'd just come on and was "cold". He capped a good move with a really good clinical finish. Perhaps an indication of MM's influence on confidence ?

I very rarely watch England games because they are plain boring. Only if it's world cup or European finals would I watch. Even then it's usually pretty dire. Sad innit ?

I see the club is advertising for raffle ticket sellers. Is this a way of getting rid of unwanted players ?

To my mind the whole problem has been caused by media/tv and twats like Lineker, Shearer and Wright. They spotlight the mistakes/alleged mistakes made by officials over and over again and demand that every decision should be 100% correct. Times were when refs and linesmen made on the spot decisions and they were accepted by players. Some you won, some you lost. Decisions were not picked over by "has beens" who wanted to cause controversy.

All pure speculation, we don't know what exactly happened or what was said by who to who. Shame ST is no longer at the club but thanks Steve for all your efforts.

I was surprised to see so many posts on this subject. Now i've read them I can see why.

I've got a big yellow honeydew melon in my fridge. I will draw some eyes on it in thick black felt tip pen and mount it on a brush handle. Will somebody take this to Altricham and stand as close as possible to the touchline as in "I've got my eyes on you" from Mick Mellon. Maybe gee up our lads.

ST saying they are looking to get McGahey out on loan to get match fit for us. Considering Raglan can’t get in the squad consistently I hope have no idea why we need this lump.
Can he play RB ?

So true. The degree of over analysis is staggering at times
It is. I can remember seeing Don Howe on TV decades ago, remember him ?
He was explaining how they were splitting the game up into fifteen minute periods. He went on to explain there were three periods in the first half and three periods in the second half. This was absolutely mind boggling stuff, he was deadly serious.
