The same Colchester who spent a fair bit of cash by league 1 standards in the summer. 2-0 down, or not. A draw there is a very good point. Colchester at home, yes we should be beating them....but then again I think we should be beating every team at home. Tranmere is a game I'd expect us to win though, they aren't really a good team at all, despite today's result. We are a top three team, we should be beating the likes of Colchester et al!! Swindon or Colchester won't be in the running come season end, we've set the standard, this ain't the same squad as last season.....................glass half full or half empty??? A draw away at a ground over 200 miles away is an excellent result, even for a top side. Colchester were Championship last season and will be in or around the play-offs come the end of the season. 10 points from 4 games = 100+ points at the end of the season. I'm not greedy and would settle for 86 !! Draw away at Colchester is a 'par' result and something we can be proud of. More importantly, that's twice this season we've recovered from 2 goal deficits. This team is fit and will keep on trying (just hope we don't end up with a leaky defence too often).

Rocky_Latic
Colchester were relegated due to being a poor side!!! In a league which we ourselves would struggle in, not to mention one of the poorest side's in said league this season had a walk in the park against us in midweek. They've got a good squad of players. Hammond, Lockwood, Gillespie, Perkins, Coyne, Ifil, Vernon, Yeates etc. They've got a handful of players I wouldnt mind seeing play for us. Swindon or Colchester won't be in the running come season end Yet neither will be in a relegation dogfight and neither are the easiest of places to go too. oafcprozac
Colchester were relegated due to being a poor side!!! Talking to a Col U fan in the queue for the bus back into town and that side has been dismantled to a certain extent and they've spent around £2M in the last couple of transfer windows. They're a big strong side with two monsters at the back, a cracking winger in Yeates and young Perkins signed from Dale a cracking little player (who came on and looked very good) can't catch a starting spot. 2-0 down against a side who will definitely be top 10, and to come back and dominate a fair bit of the game is no mean feat. Perkins was banned the first four games of the season, which is why it's took him so long to make his debut. Colchester were hardly like to change a side that won at Swindon the week prior. Didnt realise they'd spent that much the season before this. They spent over half a million on the two players they brought in this summer. Come on be realistic we will have hiccups along the way and no matter how good you think we are we ain't goin to win every game.!! The fact is we have been 2 goals behind in a couple of games and come back to claim 4 points.... we wouldn't have done that last season so you've got to be happy with that, if we win at Tranmere next week it will have been a fantastic start to the season and this team will get better......my cup is definitely half full!!!!!!
