jonnyl@tic
excellent signing but not gonna happen, think we will stick with what we have. Maybe Byran will sign in the next couple of days as cover for lomax.
Neil Kilkenny
Sébastien Carole (born 8 September 1982 in Pontoise) is a French footballer. He can play on either wing but prefers the right. He played for AS Monaco FC before joining Brighton. Carole had a good spell at Brighton, but left Brighton when they got relegated to join Leeds United in the summer of 2006.[1]. Carole featured in many games under former manager Kevin Blackwell, but the arrival of new manager Dennis Wise, saw Carole hardly feature in the Leeds team with just a few substitute appearances. Carole was told he could leave Leeds and started to negotiate a compensation package with the club for his departure[2]. However, Carole stated he wanted to stay and fight for his place and was rewarded with a place on the substitutes bench, but each time only came on for a minimal amount of minutes. Following their relegation to League One, Carole began the season in fine form, setting up crucial goals in a couple of the season's opening games. Carole finally scored his first goal for the club in the 1-1 draw at Gillingham on 29 September 2007. His first home goal came in the 1-1 game against Leyton Orient. He scored with a sweet curler from just inside the box. During summer 2008 Carole trialled with French Ligue 1 side Le Havre. He returned to Leeds for Pre Season and played in the game against York City. That proved to be his last performance for Leeds as he was released on Transfer Deadline Day 31st August 2008. he has now joined oldham athletic on trial. Macca
Is this from Wiki ? A load of rubbish ???? Always thought he was pretty decent 'n obviously the natural alternative to signing Demar u'd think BUT i still wana know the true reason for Y phillips didn't join us. Stoke wanted us to pay a large percentage of his wages and for an average player with a bit of pace he wasn't worth it.
