SAV
Just think ... in 50 years, Wigan Pier might actually be on the coast! And with any luck,in 51 years Wigan would have been wiped off the map
jsslatic
From ONIGP: I've spoken to my man inside PP and at 5pm tonight the pitch was in perfect playing condition despite the heavy rain. I believe Andy Quayle will be in early tomorrow to assess any overnight rain, but the game has a great chance of going ahead. I'm expecting some sort of news after 8am tomorrow so hopefully if there is any chance of a postponement I won't have travelled too far. rosa
i'm on the other side of the river (where the sun always shines) but it stopped raining about an hour ago and apart from a bit of a downpour earlier it really hasn't been that bad so i can't see the game getting called off. The local press has been warning about congestion on public transport cos of the ugly mechanical spider thing in liverpool this weekend, though,so you might want to allow yourself more time if you're coming by train.
