The Chaplain
Some good words from Hazell in his interview, especially about supporting the whole team. So, for those of us too poor for World, or with superior technology, could you give us a few quotes, in your own words of course?
TrikkiNikki
No quotes from me, I can't afford it either, but I bet he loved scoring against a club that rejected him.
dec666
Well basically Gordon said about how now Byrne has come theres more competition, Hazell said that the competition will be good and that no matter whos out there the team will support each other. As for scoring and playing against his old club he said it's just like any other game but if anything harder, he said he thinks hes respected at Tranmere and and gets a good reception when he returns. Gordon asked if he remembers his goals or something like that and he said not really but his goal against Leeds last year sticks out but its not his fortay. Hope that helps, can't really tell you everything tbh

TafkaN
Super Reuben won me some cash today - I had a quid on him as first goal scorer at 40-1!

Good job he's a footballer and not trying to make money through fraud cos he's a crap liar

Diego_Sideburns
From The Times: Oldham are showing that League One is not easy to predict and with Mark Crossley, the 39-year-old goalkeeper, Sean Gregan, 34, the defender, and Andy Liddell, 35, the midfield player, they have experience to go with Neal Eardley, 19, and Chris Taylor, 21, the promising young players. “I don’t think they’d be happy to be called ‘Dad’s army’, so we’ll call them the knowledgeable ones,” Hazell said. “They’ve been there and done it and you need that blend. We’ve got a lot of teenagers and they even it out. I don’t see why we can’t go all the way. It’s early, but our sights are set high.”
Rick
He seems like a right nice lad. Not too cocky and pretty bright.
