Macca Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 A good point, could have gone either way. Slipped to 4th but Scunthorpe and Leicester are still with us. Now to get a result at Bristol. 4 points from 6 in our next two games would be a great return! Quote

One more thing,we were lucky to be still in the game at HT so thats a great point we got today! Quote

Lordy Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 If they are favourites to go up we cant be far away judging by today, hopefully we can be consistant but all the signs are good, still think Scunny and Leicester will go up Auto. Even Crossley was ok today Quote
Bertie_Dugger Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Scunthorpe haven't played anybody yet. Been knocking over bums to reach the top. Let's see how they do against us. Quote
Bring Back Ronnie Moore Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Scunthorpe haven't played anybody yet. Been knocking over bums to reach the top. Let's see how they do against us. They could lose to us, Leicester and Leeds twice but if they still keep performing consistently against the other teams they'll go up. If we can beat Brizzle and Swindon convincingly then that proves we're on the right path, but I can just see us having a mare against Brizzle. Quote
UpTheLatics Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I have to be pleased with that. If we performed like we did during the last 25-30 minutes we woulda won that game in my opinion. I really don't wanna be playing Rovers or Swindon next. Two away games against two struggling sides... Quote

monkeykieran Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 The assistant that Hughes winded up by calling him a fat b****** and mimicking his fat belly at the beginning was an absolute disgrace. Utterly unprofessional, it seemed he let that incident influence his later decisions. There were at least 4 clear errors in a row, one of which led to their goal. And Hughes was right, him and the ref were right *** b******s Great game though, some good football especially in the second half, two great teams and a fair result. I'd start with Ormerod next instead of Davies personally, and I'm not sure about Jones' stand-offish approach to defending, Gregan was well solid. Quote
LaticsLee Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 to be honest i thought davies had a good game, he tracked back at times, when he lost it he went and fought for it back. but yeah i agree ormerod starter for bristol away. Quote

kellys_discopants Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Im confident for the Scunny game, there not actually that good, theyve played alot of average teams recently. Quote

BigfinLatic Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Scunthorpe haven't played anybody yet. Been knocking over bums to reach the top. Let's see how they do against us. Yeah, was looking at the scunny results yesterday, couldnt have had an easier start tio the season if they had picked the games themselves.... they really frig me off though... they will probably do exactly the same as when they went up last time, look like crap against the teams at the top, but just be too bloody solid to ever lose to the lesser teams... Hopefully after hereford, cheltenham etc, we might have learned this also - we will see on tuesday... got a text from my mate who is a hudders fan this morning saying that Brizzle were the worst side he has seen all season.... all they do is aim for lambert every single time... if Greegs has him in his pocket, we will win easily.... Minimum of 6 points from the next 3 games now boys... Quote
kellys_discopants Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 There a dangerous team to play Bristol, one minute can be crap the next bang 6 in. Id take a point now and 3 against Swindon and Scunny. They may be top but there very much beatable, like said theyve had a easy start. Quote
