LaticsPete
Quote from BB80 in another topic but one that needs highlighting (if only for the reason I was going to post a new topic on the same theme). The simplest plan would be the one Shez tried vs Leicester before Byrne went off injured There have been umpteen complaints about formations, line ups etc - Taylor better on right, Jones a winger not a defender, etc etc. Shez does, I believe, know his preferred line up but that injury to Byrne has scuppered it - for the time being. If that was it vs Leicester then it would contradict a belief he's vehemently protested in his managerial career...that Taylor is a left winger, not a right winger. Personally, I don't understand his thing with Lomax...yes, he's not the best LB in the world but he's been fairly solid and sticking him there while Byrnes injured is worth a go...to free up Jones for the LW. Hope he does it fairly soon.
