StipeTripe
Have posted this for the last 10 years now.Its a day late, couldn't log on yesterday, sentiment remains the same though. Wasn't going to post it as I'd missed the 11th, but as Dan missed it. In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. Diego_Sideburns
Without their sacrifice we would be discussing whether Taylor should play on the recht or the link! Edited November 12, 2008 by Diego_Sideburns
Guest M_OAFC
Without their sacrifice we would be discussing whether Taylor should play on the recht or the link! I was going to say no we wouldn't because the ginger b*****d would be dead, but then again had the Germans won the first world war perhaps the Nazi party would never have come to prominence and gingers might have been treated as equals. Then again, I wonder how Hitler felt about strawberry blondes? Perhaps Chris would have been okay after all. Thanks to some of those remembered yesterday, we never had to find out.
