Latics Lady Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 Just a quick update from driving through centre of Leicester. Roads just about clear, some of pavements still a bit dicey but certainly "walkable". Only had a covering of snow in the rural areas, and it looks like things are being geared up for tomorrow. Obviously, we will have to see what happens tonight, snow and ice wise, and what I will do is update this post in the morning - I have a workmate who lives in Leicester primed to let me know (as I am 10 miles out of the centre). Had a frost, but all local forecasts say it is expected to clear soon, and my sources nearer the centre of Leicester seem to indicate it is an improving picture.
