By the next day, when Tony Bugby was running the London Marathon wearing his Latics shirt through Millwall territory, he suffered the Lions' slings and arrows. I wore a Latics shirt and an England cap running the Paris Marathon in 2001 - but there were no slings and arrows in "The City of Light"...
