Joe deciding to stay will be the only thing that prevents a crippling drop in season ticket sales after this season's charade, and even then I predict a sceptical response unless the rumoured additional investment materialises. I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, but it would appear that with failure to gain promotion again, and the de-facto shelving of the stadium plan, the five year plan, such as it exists, lies in tatters. There is, as one club official stated in the speech he gave at the Port Vale game after the demo, no worthwhile or viable future for the club as a lower divison outfit in a deteriorating stadium.
