This may comes as a bit of a surprise to some of you, but I went with Gregan. Immense!!! He also looked to enjoy the game as well. Wonder whether the collapse of the drink-drive case on Friday helped. He came out at half time and appeared to be having a laugh with Reuben and Stammy.

 

I must also mention the following who ran Gregan close in my thoughts: Jones, Stam, Smalley and Allott (who again ran himself into ground having to cover the non-existent defensive workrate of Whittaker and Taylor which should have been a cue for Maher to come).

just seen the virginmedia highlights and thought it was a penalty. hazell runs into him as the ball leaves. gregan had just failed to win the previous header too.

if that would have been our player we would have expected a penalty.
