Ackey
Born in Jersey. They dont have an FA so they could choose to play for any country. Note to self... make sure my kids are born in Jersey!! Anyway... three from me - if you know them, answer. BUT, if you know them just because you've seen them before on a quiz don't spoil it for everyone else! 1. Name the only team out of the 92 whose name starts with 5 consonants. 2. The Italians were the first country to have 2 different teams reach the semi-finals of the European Cup, and Spain were the first country to have 3 different teams reach the semi-finals, but who were the first country to have 4 different representatives and can you name the 4? (Note that this doesn't mean they have to be the same year). 3. What rule did Germany break in every match, during the 2006 world cup? (It isn't that they committed a foul )

tony4938
Kinda. Apparently its where he rolls his sleeves up or wears short sleeves but in either case if he takes his gloves off. Apparently in a melee such as a conjested goal mouth corner if he fists or touches the ball with his hand the referee would not be able to see if it was the goalies hand or somebody else. Sorry to put my referee head on, but there is nothing in the laws that state Goalies have to wear gloves. Good quiz this lets keep it going! loonylatik
.... and you can't score straight from the kick off cos someone has to roll it before a shot can be taken .
Ackey
.... and you can't score straight from the kick off cos someone has to roll it before a shot can be taken . Not true. Just the first touch has to enter the oppositions half, it's not indirect.
Rick
Correct Correct, but two teams are wrong... Yes Wow - what a guess - GET IN This will become like Mastermind now (the 1970s game where you had to deduce the colour of pegs your opponent had set out). Celtic, Rangers, Hibs and St Mirren? Rick
Is it something to do with players equipment? Jens Lehman wore a 4 coloured short sleeved shirt for each game, whereas only a 3 coloured shirt is allowed in competition rules? *Reason for Edit: To make it look like I got it right before jsslatic Edited April 9, 2009 by Rick

Ackey
Not an officially sanctioned kit? I'll give you that as I'm sick of checking for answers... their kit had 4 colours and under competition rules the maximum was 3.
