Favourite Ground

Recommended Posts

I can see the logic behind picking some old (usually decrepid) grounds above some modern ones. This is why I'm happy that we seemed to be more interested in redeveloping BP as it will retain a good portion of its character but any new ground is quite likely to be a souless bowl.

Interesting comment - I guess a week is a long time in football, as it is in politics etc. Enough, with the cliches!

I'd been to quite a few before my self-imposed exile and I'd have to agree with previous posters that Maine Road holds the fondest of memories based on results. We'd had a decent record at Goodison too. Don't think I saw us lose there?

For facilities, I remember being at Hillsborough and word spreading quickly "they've got chips here and you can have a flutter". Priceless.

Shrewsbury's was nice and tidy. Car park was handy for celebrating Roger's hat trick!
